Well it started off the staff was nice but as I began to have family sit there with my husband, it became a different story. I had a few complaints, one nurse smelled of alcohol, my husbands oxygen sensor came off his ear no one ever came in the room to check on him, my husband also had a fall which I was not informed of until I came to see him which was 4 hours after the fall. I would not suggest anyone to take their loved one here unless you really don't care about them and when I reported my concerns to the director she told me the caseworker Heather would get back to me and she did by telling me they are discharging my husband so your complaints fall on deaf ears they just get rid of you rather than address your concerns. We must remember the law of reciprocity which allows us to receive as a result of what we give or do. You are just a trip an fall or an accident away from someone having to take care of you and let us not forget, You will reap what you sowed
Vibra staff went above and beyond making sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed to make my stay the best it could be. The staff overall is friendly, prompt, and are sure to make you smile everyday. It’s hard not to get to know your nurses and techs and enjoy being around them! All in all a great place for healing and getting healthier.
Loved the Dr in charge and most of the respiratory staff other than that nothing. Had our call light turned off without anyone coming to see what we needed. Almost everyday came in almost everyday to my dad a mess and you could tell he had laid there awhile like that. If you have another option take it. He luckily was able to get off the vent and go to a rehab facility.
Horrible horrible place! My mother, who is inpatient for a pressure ulcer, has been ignored, treated like a child and GIVEN MEDICATION THAT WAS NOT ORDERED FOR HER. Ativan to be exact. Accident or not what if it had been fatal?! Night shift nurses refused to give meds and names when asked for them. Her catheter bag was not emptied and ultimately ended up all over the floor. Instead of owning up to the mistake night shift attempted to blame it on first shift. As other reviewers have mentioned it’s like they stick you in a room and forget all about you. Would not recommend putting your dead goldfish in here!!!
Great place! Aggressive nurses who can't answer questions and your beloved parent can soil themselves in bed waiting an hour for someone to respond to the call button, which may or may not work at all. The best thing about it for me? My mom is moving to somewhere else in two days.
If you care at all about your loved ones, never send them here. They killed my mother. They talked her into staying there by telling her her insurance wouldnt cover it if she left before 10 days. They were drugging her up like crazy and she was sleeping way too much. She had been suffering with carbon dioxide poisoning and already had copd. Them drugging her up made her breathing even harder. I asked them about it and they said the doctor recommended it. She went into cardiac arrest in the middle of the night and no one even knew until they came in to do an ultrasound. Why wasnt she hooked up to any monitors!? She was out for more than 10 minutes before they resuscitated her, resulting in sever brain damage. She was moved to parkview north where she died a week later. They are a horrible place that needs to be shut down. I dont know how they live with themselves knowing this is what they are doing to people.
Specializes in having a big parking lot. Other than that, nothing. Unattentive staff. Very run down facility. Peeling paint. Dirty rooms. One of the times we came to visit my brother, who suffered a TBI, his feeding tube was disconnected and had leaked all over his chest and had been draining long enough to soak his 1 layer of sheet, soaking his PLASTIC mattress from his neck to his thigh. Another time he was hysterical because he hadn't been given a catheter for quite some time. When it was finally given to him he nearly filled the bag completely. Another time his 1 layer of sheet was covered in feces that he had lain in for quite some time. The nurses finally came in and berated my brother and joked and laughed while they supposedly cleaning Another time we came to meet with a doctor, but he had already gone home. Each of these times we rang the buzzer again and again with no response. Each time we had to go to the nurse's station if anybody was there to get ANY help, care or even any attention. Avoid this place. It is insulting it can't be rated as 0 stars
Wouldn't bring my dead dog, my husband almost died due to the fact of ignoring infection. Hemaglobin down to 7 wouldn't release him at first until they said they don't treat low hemaglobin. Transferred to a real hospital where he had to get blood transfusion.
At first it was good nurse's were awesome...now it's like really horrible service I feel my father is being neglected...I understand they are short staffed my belief is you treat others you want to be treated...would you want someone leaving you in a blood stained /wet gown????
Need to answer call button in a timely manner. Not 25 minutes later after hitting it several times. Have had to help patient several times because they’re not getting help when needed .So sad to see this happening. And please change your gloves when your going from feces to catheter bag! So unsanitary!
