We had used a pet crematory service through our vet in the past, but was so glad I found Paws In Paradise. They were absolutely so nice and Steven helped out so much arranging the pick up and drop off. This helped us out greatly. As far as the care and concern given to our pet when she returned home, it was totally astounding - such a beautifully nice, carved box with nameplate, beautiful bag and one of the most wonderful surprises - a keychain with an image of our dear kitty's paw print. So compassionate and caring in the presentation and delivery once your pet comes home. Unfortunately, I know I will need services such as this again in the future, as we are pet lovers, and would never think of going anywhere else. Highly recommended and thank you so much for treating a very difficult time with such compassion.
We lost our kitty on Christmas Eve, while on travel to Texas. It was unexpected and I was a mess. Laurie at Paws in Paradise was so compassionate and kind. They were able to accommodate our travel schedule even during the holidays. While I hope that no one needs this service, if you do, I can't recommend Paws in Paradise any more highly. Thank you for your kindness.
We had a freak day and two of our babies passed on the same day. Paws In Paradise was so kind, gentle and loving. So respectful and comforting. We couldn't have asked for a better interaction. We also just got our babies home in time for Thanksgiving! So grateful and highly recommended!
The lady who scheduled everything was nice, but she gave misinformation about the pricing. So the day my boy went to Heaven, I was on the phone going back and forth about pricing, despite it being clearly written on the receipt and having been told the same amount when I scheduled. The lady who picked him up was the one who told me the price was inaccurate, and she was not pleased. She told me they would either put him down but keep him until I pay, or he would essentially be on a waiting list. I went into a panic because the thought of my baby being in some freezer or whatever, was too much to handle. They ultimately gave me the quoted price, but I couldn't process my thoughts and grieve because the day was spent wasting time on the phone. The lady who came to my house to pick up my boy was rude and callous. I was told she was with some company they contract with. She asked about the symptoms leading to my decision, and she made me feel guilty for waiting too long. She told me I should have done it a long time ago. Little did she know, his decline was very rapid, occurring within a few days. Even if someone waited too long, who is she to try and guilt during such a sensitive moment?! My goodbye to my boy was also rushed and therefore marred by this woman. Furthermore, I was not allowed to be with my baby when he crossed over "because of Covid". I begged to at least be on the phone so he could hear my voice as he crossed over. I had to wait for approval, which means my boy had to wait in pain while they decided. It was December 2021 and Covid rules were relaxed enough to allow me to be there. I could have worn a mask. I could have watched from another room. Something.... I wasn't able to be there when he died, but I was able to pick up his ashes...no mask required. I still feel guilty that my boy gave me 11 AMAZING years filled with love, yet I wasn't there for him when he needed me most. I feel so robbed and guilty about how everything happened The package items came out nicely and the lady who gave me the incorrect pricing remained kind, which is why I gave two stars. But that lady who came to my house would receive zero stars. My mind keeps wondering if he was treated with love and care, and I can't confidently say that he was. I feel like I failed my boy. He deserved a better homegoing
On July 28th at 530 p.m. I made one of the hardest phone calls I have ever made in my life. All I can say is that Lori and her team, in all their effort, made this experience as manageable as it can be expected. Dr. Imna was amazing, considering the situation. All of this is so hard to put into words, all I can say, is I am so appreciative of how considerate and caring each and everyone of you are. Thank you for everything y'all do.
I just picked up my buddy's remains and wanted to write while it is still fresh. Paws In Paradise were very caring and professional. My dog passed on Sunday and I was able to schedule on that day to have his remains moved to their facilities. The lady was very patient with me as this was my first time through the process and I was still emotional. Cremation was done in a timely manner and I was notified yesterday that I would be able to pick up. The lady who handed me the remains different person was also very caring and professional. On pickup, they were with someone who had just lost their pet and handled my situation without making neither of us feel less important. I really respect that. They are also affordable but even if there are ones more affordable I would choose them again because of the excellent experience. I highly recommend Paws in Paradise.
We had to put our pup Nala of 15 years down this past Monday. It was a very hard but humane decision. We contacted Paws in Paradise because we wanted it to be done in the comfort of our home and her bed. They helped coordinate everything. It was a very smooth process. When Monday came the vet came into our home and explained the process as he went along. He assured us this was the right decision. Oscar from Pets in Paradise was patiently waiting outside in his vehicle. When the process was over they showed themselves out and we were left to have a few moments with our pup. We then motioned for Oscar that he could come inside to retrieve our Nala. He brought in a pet cot with straps and a blanket. He carefully picked up our pet and placed her within the blanket and onto the cot. He was so kind and compassionate. After our baby was taken to the vehicle he then gave us a few more moments with her. It was never rushed and we appreciated the love and kindness he showed our dog and us as well with his words and patience. He then took her to be buried, at peace and no longer in pain but running free with the rest of the fur babies just over Rainbow Bridge. This was a most difficult decision and time. I am thankful we chose to do it the way we did. Our baby passed peacefully surrounded by love in the comfort of her own home and bed instead of an unfamiliar or an ALL TOO familiar setting of a vets office on a cold table. This was the right choice for us and thankful that it is even offered. We cannot recommend them enough if you find yourself in our position. Do not hesitate contacting Paws in Paradise.
Let's all be honest. It really sucks when we have to use a service that these guys offer. And for my family and I it really sucked. My boy went down hill out of no where and quickly. He always hated the vet and I had always promised him it wouldn't end at the vet. But when the day came, I had no notice. These guys are literally the only service that would come to our home. So I called, hoping for the best and that I could keep my promise to my boy. They were so incredibly kind. They all acted so swiftly and managed to squeeze us in. Everyone was very respectful, made sure we knew what was going to happen and helped us pick out the most beautiful urn, my boy always liked smelling the flowers They made sure that everything happened on our terms and where my boy wanted to be. When it came time for my boy to come home they were right on time, they were still so kind when they dropped him off. These guys are worth every penny, and when the time sadly comes again, they will be my first call. Thank you everyone here, for your kind words, actions and taking care of my boy like your own.
I can't recommend these wonderful people enough! They came to our home and made our girl's passing peaceful. It was a nice experience at a difficult time. We were pretty distraught and they handled everything beautifully. When we got our girl back, the box and keepsakes have made a lovely memorial shelf for our beloved Harley. If you have to make the tough decision, they will be there and make it just a bit easier.
