Classical music creates an excellent ambience in both the lobby and bathroom. The lobby includes some beautiful art and views. The Parkway is majestic almost for those waiting on a loved one. Bathrooms leave something to be desired, as the doors do not match and the toilet paper is one ply. Still the music leads to a peaceful tranquility where you can ponder and almost find an epiphany. If you find yourself questioning lifes mysteries.
I tested last November 5th. All the staff are welcoming. They accommodated my needs with a smile. A nice place to take exam. At first I was hesitant to book my exam here because of bad reviews I read here but this was the closest to my place and I never regretted that I took my exam here. P.S. no comfort room inside the room. Better go to comfort room before you enter the room.
Really bad, they lost my ID when I went out for my lunch break. They never returned it to me, then asked me for it when I got back. THANK GOD I had a second ID on me because I had recently moved and gotten a new one, and gave them that one. Otherwise they would have ruined the most important test of my life. Overall it is a terrible organization in general, but this was a pretty bad thing to have happen.
Easy to find the testing center in the large office building. There are signs directing you to the elevators take it down to the lower level and from there you'll find additional signs on where to go. Simple enough. The facility was clean and the bathrooms and drinking fountains No one ever seems to comment on drinking fountains.. were all very clean and well maintained. The GEM to this location is the women running the show. The three that I interacted with were saints! sweet, compassionate and understanding. The rules were explained and any questions were politely answered. I read some previous reviews mentioning one individual by name but I would hope she no longer works there and instead they hired these lovely women. Going for my NCLEX I was nervous as most other NCLEX test takers would also agree with, but the environment that the employees created alleviated a good portion of that initial anxiety. All I can say is thank you, so much for making the whole process comfortable and pleasant.
I had scheduled to take my NCLEX here about a month ago for this morning on 6/21/22 and received an email yesterday at 3:30 pm saying that it was canceled and I had to reschedule. I wasn’t able to reschedule for at least 2 weeks out. I looked online again to see if I had any better options for possibly still to test in June and the time slots for my original testing time were available again. So I thought we’ll why not sign up, I could still get it canceled but at least I might be able to take it. Well 3 of us show up there this morning and the testing center door was not locked and we open it and it was a dark room and no one was there working. So I had to go through the same thing again and reschedule. It was very inconvenient and inconsiderate of them to not close the testing time slots online. I have made an appointment at another location and you should too so you don’t go through the stress and hassle that I did.
Staff is courteous and professional. Arrive early, so you have time to register. Testing center is in the basement of a large office building.
This has been the most frustrating experience. Registration for testing opened at 1am. There were very few locations available within minutes and I had to take the test over 2 hours away from my home. Pearson Vue was completely unhelpful when I called their main office. They have very poor customer service.
Absolutely ridiculous! I recently brought a family member here for testing. After the long drive to get here I walked said family member to the basement location of the testing center. Now being the person I am I wanted to be sure this was the right place, the right time, and right building. The inconsiderate BOOB who was doing nothing at her desk but yelling at us not to sit down until we “grabbed” a number was the main attraction here. This is the picture in my head I will always remember of this company. Lady now yelling at me to exit the room because I’m family. Me explaining I just want to know I’m in the “right spot” again being told in the most visually unattractive way possible I’m “not allowed here” “leave” all the while it’s arms waving bye at me. Completely uncalled for! I will not return. And do not recommend anyone who wants to be treated with any sort of dignity to ever visit ! I have been to other Pearson professional centers before. All very well run and nice. Not so much here. Good luck.
I was anxious about my test day after reading reviews about the center here but it was a very good experience for me. Staff was very nice and helpful. Exam room really quiet. There is a nice patio where you can eat, rest, enjoy fresh air during your breaks.
Waited an hour and a half to test here today. It was RIDICULOUS! We were unable talk, use cell phones, or study while we sat for an HOUR AND A HALF while their computers were down. We were all required to take off our bracelets. WHAT???? We were asked if we wanted to reschedule, yet the woman representing Pearson's explained that she had no idea when I could be rescheduled, nor how long it would take to reschedule. The Pearson worker indicated that she would, "Write a note," regarding the computer problems, and it might take up to 3 weeks for them to even allow us to schedule. The Pearson employee was RUDE RUDE RUDE. They did nothing to make us more comfortable or make the extensive wait more tolerable. I will NEVER take a test at Pearson's again.
