Pelican's SnoBalls of Poquoson

The Sno Cones are huge. Mine was a medium and so good! It's called Butter Beer. Taste like butterscotch. The waitress, Addie, was as sweet as can be and helped us decide on the best ones to get.

When it is the season and open, the ice is soft and tasty. Beware when there is only one person working there, though. While usually they can move quickly, I once had a 20 min wait with no one in front of us. The people before us ordered ten things or such and there was only one person there. Should have left but wanted to be patient. I guess the next shift showed up and then we Finally got served. Besides that time, it is usually a quick cheap thrill. I recommend kiddie-sized if you want a light snack. Bigger than that gets huge.

Yummy yummy yummy! Tons of flavors. They even have sugar free! Drove from back row to snowballs and will do it All summer! so excited to find a place like This! haven't seen one like this since back in Kansas!

We love Pelican's Snoballs and so far as we've been able to tell, this one is the best one in the area. They always take care of us when we go and we normally show up in a larger group. Never any problems with our orders. I highly recommend for anyone looking for a sweet treat to eat!

Good flavor and price. We visited a similar Pelican in Portsmouth. This one is set up a bit nicer with outdoor games and family seating. Ordering was slow but to me, worth the wait.

Awesome shaved ice and also pet friendly! The staff seems nice as well. Great spot for a small treat and a short sit outside. WAY better than the snowball place in Hampton.

I have worked at a family owned snow cone business in the past...so speaking from experience the young lady that made my snocone skimped on the syrup and definitely on the cream that I paid extra for. Now they are basically kids and maybe I got a newbie. I was just a little disappointed after spending $4.50 on my snocone BUT it is a very clean establishment and that is very important.

I love the gigantic variety of flavors. While I wish that service was faster, I guess that is what you get with summer teenage help. I admit that the help was faster last time. Might have been an off day.

Always a great time! Lots of games to play while you wait for your snowball! Generous size for price and employees are always friendly!

Favorite go to for dessert. Friendliest/patient staff. Menu with a range of flavors. Great place to bring the family.
