Petco - NE Raleigh

Their stock of grooming supplies was quit low, so selection was small. We found a couple of items we liked. We were not offered a bag when we checked out. Left the store just carrying our items. Cashier was nice enough.

Took my dog there to use the self care dog wash. Was 9.99 and included a easy to use soap/conditioner dispensing hand held spray hose, dryer, comb scrubbing brush and towels. Would definitely recommend just for this need alone.

Excellent service! Staff is friendly and incredibly helpful! Excellent value!! A clean environment. Bella, my dog, enjoys the delectable goodies, especially the dog treat biscuits! All of the clothes are incredibly cute, and the cranberry relief healthy urinary tract pet snacks were extremely beneficial! Also, the Adams carpet powder was excellent! I strongly suggest this store to all pet owners and caregivers.

We had used other self washing places but Petco’s was so cool! I love the walk up baths and all the high-tech extras. Our dogs were comfortable and relaxed. The guy from the grooming department was amazing and kept checking on us.

Dropped by and was suprised to see the variety of pets here. A lot of different services too! Nothing stood out here Apart from the adorable kittens for adoption but that's not a bad thing! Nothing to complain about at all here, and could easily be back for pet stuff.

This review is for Yaz and her training classes: I adopted a puppy a few months ago and it was sheer luck that Yaz's beginner class started the week I got him. Puppies are not easy and I would absolutely be lost without Yaz and her training! My pup LOVES coming to class, he learns so much, and then having something to practice each week helps us bond. When we walk around the store to learn the lessons each week, customers comment "I need to get my dog trained." Basically, yes, you do! Sign up! It's 100% worth it!

During a recent visit following a long hiatus, I was relieved to find this store well-stocked with many products and choices--a real time-saver! Their grooming had been a disappointment, and the reason for my absence. Mgnt failed to honor a credit ID'd been given due to the groomer not knowing to leave the ears long on a Standard Poodle, and that it took about 3 years to grow back. Consequently, I won't be using them for grooming. I will shop there, though, as they're conveniently located and offer a decent product selection.

The store is absolutely better than it was before!!! Melissa the new manager has done wonders and every time I go in there with Bella Baloo and Hawthorne she’s working hard! I truly HOPE Petco Corporate appreciates this gal. I stopped going there awhile back because it was so unorganized, no one could answer questions or help. Now it’s a dream for all of us! It’s been great meeting this staff and the help they have provided me. Feels like family! Awesome products too!!! Thank you!!!

Looking at other reviews, it seems that today we also ran into the same scenarios that they mentioned when taking their dog in for a grooming appointment. We’ve had our dog groomed here before and never ran into any issues but today after dropping her off and after they inspected our dog they called us 20 minutes later to come pick her up because she was being too nervous. Our dog can be shy around new people but this has never been brought up before at any other appointment. We left feeling very disappointed and embarrassed over the matter and will look to other businesses regarding grooming from now on.
