Pets West in Victoria BC is a full-line pet store, offering a wide range of pet supplies and food for dogs, cats, birds, fish, small animals, reptiles, and wild birds. We also carry live fish, birds, small animals, and provide a cat adoption service.
At Pets West we are proud to be Victoria's favorite local pet shop, with experienced and enthusiastic staff who take an active role in the local pet community and look forward to helping you with all your pet care needs and questions. Many of our people have been a part of the Pets West team for 10, 15 and even over 20 years - you might recognize some of them from our commercials!
We are involved with the local pet community in many aspects, including working with local shelters to help them find forever homes for abandoned pets. When you look in our front window you will often see cats or kittens that have come from the SPCA, Catnap cat adoption, Dee's Orphan Fund, Cat's Cradle, the CRD Pound, and other rescue groups awaiting their new families. We also provide adoption services for a range of other pets including rabbits, guinea pigs, rabbits, hamsters, rats, birds, chinchillas, hedgehogs, and anyone else that we can accommodate to help find a home. Pets for adoption come only from established and qualified local pet rescues. We also offer donations wherever possible and provide ongoing fund-raising efforts to assist these vital volunteer organizations in their difficult work. In addition, you will often find us represented at the local pet shows and events; helping our local schools and non-profit groups and teams; providing pet related information for local media; and working behind the scenes in many other areas to help make the Victoria community a great place to live with pets.
