One star is too many! The other evening my son was having extreme abdominal pain. I rushed him to Pinnacle, thinking he would be seen there quicker than in the ER. We sat there for 20-30mins, my poor son was crying, doubled over in pain, then eventually blacks out from the pain, all while the 3 ladies and Dr behind the counter watched. I finally begged them to at least put him in a bed, there was no one else there, in the front or in the back. One of the ladies looked at me and asked how old he was, when I said 17, she said they didn’t have a pediatric Dr there, so they can’t help him, then continued laughing with the ladies behind the counter. Here’s my thing, they didn’t offer to help, in any way. They didn’t ask how old he was while he was very obviously suffering. They literally watched him suffer for 20-30 mins knowing they probably couldn’t help him. By the time I got him to the ER, they said we were lucky his appendix didn’t burst. I’m not usually one to complain, I’m more of a, promote of you love not bash what you hate kinda person, but damn….this could’ve been handled differently. We will not be going back!!
Very unprofessional work environment. I worked for the Executive Assistant/ Director of marketing. She gossiped about her boss the CEO and everyone else that worked there. I was let go from the job with no reason as to why. I was supposed to receive a letter informing me about why I was let go and the letter said nothing relating to why I was fire. My boss texted me to go HR instead of facing me professionally. When I messaged her and called several times to formally speak about why I was let go, she sent me to voicemail and never responded to any text messages. Do not work there. They let people go for no reason.
I love this place. Er doctor is the sweetest man. The nurses and staff are wonderful. If someone has issues with pinnacle it would be their fault! Maybe bad attitude. I have never been treated disrespectfully ! The food was GOD AWFUL! Years ago it used to be the best food but now? It's just horrible. I would rather ask for a sandwich then to eat he mess they call food DO NOT LET DR HYDER OPERATE ON YOUR BACK! One year out and he crippled me! Stay away from him. If you need back surgery go to a university hospital. Many are opening up in Munster.
Terrible service at this hospital. Walked in and after a brief description of issue registration called to verify if CT/radiology tech was still in and they were. Waited for the Dr which then walked in asked 1 question and walked out, returned and said radiology was gone for the day. He was told that it was verified they were in and he walked out in a huff. Returned and advised they were tired, been there all day and wanted to go home. I should just go to another facility. It was clear there would be no treatment that evening. Had to leave and go to another facility to get care and Pinnacle billed us anyway. Have called to dispute and billing manager and director do not return phone calls. Use another Urgent Care that is actually interested in treating you.
Unbelievable we don't care attitude ...DR BLEZA scheduled me for surgery .....my job doesn't have sick days you have to request and get fmla....the week of the surgery Dr bleza cancels...no explanation just maybe we can do it later in the month ....called quality control for hospital she explained situation to the ceo who's response was so sorry but no other dr could do surgery....health care in America is not about your health or care...as for the time off from work ....SUCKS TO BE YOU...run from this hospital....called my primary Dr Rashad ansari...to see if I could get another referral...NO call back...the best thing they can do is close this place...
On Friday, 12May, I went to Pinnacle Hospital to have blood drawn for a pre-op test. Apparently this test could only be performed at a COMHS faciliity. I arrived at 9:20 am and finally had the draw at 11:05. This meant I had to call off from a very important obligation I had later that morning. Also, during registration, the computer system refused to believe the zip code and county of residence were correct, causing even longer wait time. All-in-all, a particularly unpleasant experience.
Urgent care staff was very kind and patient. They always take time to listen to concerns and answer questions. Recently my child was misdiagnosed by another urgent care a couple days prior to bringing him in to Pinnacle. Pinnacle got him right in, diagnosed him and sent meds to pharmacy quickly. He improved drastically over night.
If you need to be hospitalized this is the hospital you'd want to be in. The staff here at Pinnacle Hospital are the kindest and most compassionate professionals you'll ever meet. I've been admitted to this hosp many times for a chronic ailment and the staff has always been wonderful. What's great also is that they take the time to answer your questions and support you through any situation. You have the attention of the staff so you never feel like a number lost in the crowd.
Back surgery.. Wonderful and caring nurses and staff..made sure you were comfortable and in no pain..would recommend hospital to anyone..
My wife had a spine surgery here on 2/24/22. She stayed overnight. Excellent service from all the healthcare professionals. She had been to almost all the hospitals in the area. But this place beats them all hands down. Even in ICU in other hospitals the call buttons meet with slow responses, not at Pinnacle, here someone immediately called back every time and the help arrived within a minute. All her concerns were met quickly and she left with a VIP treatment.
