Plain City Druggist is locally owned and operated by Joe and Robin Craft (both registered pharmacists). Our main priority is providing superior, personalized service that makes each patient feel cared for and respected. You are our neighbors, friends, and family. We are so glad to be part of the Plain City community.
We provide the following services to make your life easier:
We accept MOST insurance plans. Not sure if we accept yours? Ask us!
Delivery--We deliver to the Plain City area in the big white van with Joe's picture on the side.
Prescription Pickup Window--You can drop off and pick up your prescriptions conveniently from your car. Joe or our other pharmacists will come right to the window to speak with you if you have a question. We can also grab over-the-counter items for you if you let us know what you need when you pull up.
Immunizations--Get your flu or pneumonia shots here. Joe and our pharmacy students are also able to administer hepatitis A and B, tetanus, diptheria, and pertussis vaccines for adults. Ask Joe if you have questions about a particular vaccine.
After Hours Emergency Service--If you need prescriptions or help after the pharmacy is closed, call the pager at 614-240-8421. A pharmacist will call you back within the hour. If you do not hear from someone in an hour, please page us again.

Medicare Part D--We can give you information to help you select the plan that's right for you. We'll also work with your doctor to select medications that keep you within your spending limits and out of the "donut hole."
Sync Fill Program--This program will allow you to get all of your prescriptions filled at the same time each month. We know you like to see us, but honestly, wouldn't it be nice to only stop in once a month?
Medication Therapy Management (MTM)--A pharmacist or a pharmacy student will sit down with you and review your medications.

Custom Flavoring for most liquid medications.
Personalized Service and Counseling--You can always speak to a pharmacist in person about your medications in our counseling area.

Stopped by to transfer my scripts over from mail order and the pharmacy manager stepped up to the counter and took care of me immediately with kindness and patience and was thorough. As a pharmacist myself who has a decade+ of working in community, I can tell you that a pharmacist who is willing to make the time to engage directly with you as a patient is a big deal. There are a LOT of competing priorities behind the counter that often win out over patient conversation unless there's a problem. I really appreciated the time and attention and felt warmly welcomed immediately. I'm excited to give my business to my local community pharmacy. Thanks Tayler!
I walked into this pharmacy with so much confusion about what I needed to do to prepare for an upcoming procedure. Ellie was super helpful and even walked with me to help me find exactly what I needed. To verify I had everything, the pharmacist, Tyler, went above and beyond and took his time to print off information to help put my mind at ease, and looked over everything with me. He explained in depth all the steps I needed to take and made sure all my questions were answered before he went back to his very busy day. I cannot thank both of these amazing people enough for their kindness, empathy, and willingness to go out of there way to help me. I am very grateful. Thank you for turning a stressful situation into a positive one!!
My five year old takes medicine regularly and in the past we’ve used CVS but thought we’d move his prescriptions to Plain City Druggist for convenience and to support our local pharmacy. However, it took me several calls to even get these moved and during this, the customer service manager was rude. They filled his EpiPen but when I got home, I noticed it expires in July! I’ve been getting my son EpiPen’s for five years and never have I had one that expired in less than a year. When I questioned this, I got a confusing answer but I’m thinking she was saying they can sell them as long as the expiration date is more than six months? It just hasn’t been a good experience so I’m choosing to move his prescriptions.
Quick, easy and kind service! We called the Plain City Druggist after we had some trouble with a commercial chain pharmacy. They were able to sort things out and get a much needed prescription the same day. We will for sure be using them for our future prescription needs.
Been a customer at Plain City Druggist for years. Yes, the "big name" pharmacies may be open 24/7 but how many know your name? What medical conditions you have? I used to get my prescriptions at the Kroger Pharmacy in Dublin but there I was the "next" customer. At the Plain City Druggist I'm addressed by my first name and the smile is free!. I had an incident some years ago where I accidentally took two of the same medicine. Instead of calling 911 I called the pharmacy and explained what happened. They put me on hold to alert one of the pharmacists and within 15 seconds I was speaking to Joe Craft pharmacist/owner. His calm voice asked me a few questions and determined that no real harm was done. I felt like an idiot but that small bit of reassurance mattered a great deal. And that's why I give them my business. Because with them, it's all about REAL customer service. They know nearly everyone in the area and they treat us all like family. And the dollars we spend at this business are used to support our local economy--rather than some conglomerate in another state--as well as providing local jobs.
Been using them for about 6 months. Joe and his staff have a great attitude and knowledge. They want to be part of your healthcare team and will work to make sure you are getting the best care. They will answer all questions and offer great advice. The counter staff are very friendly too. The prices are less than most big box stores. I like that my dollars stay in the community.
This is the best independent pharmacy in Central Ohio! Locally owned & operated you get friendly personal service at the Plain City Druggist. I became so sick and tired of the cold and unfriendly treatment I was getting at a large grocery store chain's pharmacy and decided to try this place out after a friend recommended them. That was about 14 years ago. When I walk in to the Plain City Druggist I don't get the cold stares & shoulders I was getting at the chain, despite going in there 4x a month. Instead they say my name and are happy that I'm there. Don't keep supporting the large chain pharmacies or chain grocery store pharmacies - support your local independent pharmacies! They live and hire from within your community. Check them out. If Plain City isn't convenient for you there are two other locations. West Jefferson and another in Columbus.
Seems to have the most inept staff working there... can’t tell them anything that makes sense, sends out partial prescriptions and owe you the rest later on, expect 5 deliveries in one day and only get one.. tried to sync deliveries and I don’t see what good that does because they still don’t get things right. Their staff seems to be clueless. I tell people I know when looking for a new pharmacy to look elsewhere than Plain City Druggist. Hate dealing with this place.
The pharmacists were friendly and knowledgeable. The waiting area has about 5 chairs and a kiddie area with some coloring books. There are plenty of things to look at. The space to stand in line can get a little crowded and they need outlet covers over the outlets that are literally right next to the kid table, but overall a nicely stocked and clean place to wait for meds or shop for little knick knacks.
Wow! Kudos to Allen. I misplaced some very important medicine, so I called the emergency number. Allen drove from Hilliard to Plain City. He further went above and beyond by finding meds scheduled for delivery and taking the time to fill one that was due. Thank you Allen!
