We proudly service the area of Pleasant Grove California.
The Pleasant Grove Fire Protection Association was formed in 1963 by the community members of the Pleasant Grove area. The community got together to donate the land and fire equipment to form its own private fire department. Since then the department transferred the "fire fighting" role to Sutter County Fire to give exceptional fire service for the area. Currently the Pleasant Grove Fire Protection Association owns and operates the facilities that were originally donated by the community as a 501C3. The association runs separately from Sutter County fire but in an effort to make things easier, both fire and association events are posted on this page. In no was are either association or Sutter County fire to be considered one entity or have any dealings with each other, other than the fact that Sutter County Fire is the lessee of the buildings and the association is the owner and lessor of the facilities.
"If you need to report an emergency please call 911. If you need to report a non-emergency fire request please call Central Utah 911 at 801-794-3970. To contact the fire department administration please call 385-248-0070.The Pleasant Grove City Fire Department was organized in 1906. For over 100 years, fellow citizens protected the people of Pleasant Grove as volunteer fire fighters and Emergency Medical Technicians. In July, 2008, the fire department, through a federal grant, began providing fire and paramedic level emergency medical services 24/7 through a group of freshly hired, full time fire fighters. The volunteer spirit is still alive as part-time fire department employees play an integral role in providing emergency services."
