Point 2 Running Company was founded with two stretches of road in mind. Both are .2 of a mile or 385 yards.

One .2 is the final 385 yards of the marathon. It is quite a special experience and for many it is an inspiring goal. We'd love to help you reach it.

The other .2 may be the distance from your front porch to the end of your street. Perhaps you have been wanting to take those first steps of a running or walking program. We'd love to help you get started.

Whichever is your goal, it's our passion to help you get to your Point 2.

I’m a first time customer that was simply looking to replace my old pair of running shoes but I walked into a whole experience. I was greeted by Isabella who guided me through an entire running consultation. I had never experienced anything like it but in the end I found out my true shoe size and a ton of other specifics about my feet and posture. After recommending a few brands/styles I eventually found what was best for me. I was even able to test them out on their treadmill vs just walking in a circle in the store. I also picked up some running socks and a few nutritional items. Yes, I was even taught some running nutrition. The level of customer service here is unmatched, by the time it was time to checkout I had no idea how much the shoes were nor did I care at that point. However, they were priced well and they even offered a military discount. Highly recommend!

True professionals, you get one on one consultation. The team goes above and beyond to make sure you are in the correct shoe. You can earn store points and there is a pretty good return/exchange policy. I highly recommend getting your next pair of shoes from here.

Try to go on a weekday!  Went on a Saturday between 11 and 1 and they were quite busy.  But!  Their customer service is excellent and they ask what you are looking for and inform you that someone will be with you soon.  They were!  Very helpful!  I have some health issues that make buying shoes hard as I can’t do it myself in a very quick way.  No problem!  Measured, wants/needs discussed and the shoes started coming out.  Went in set on HOKA’s and left with New Balance that were more conducive to my needs.  Thank you ladies!’

Phenomenal customer service from the young lady who helped me with my foot analysis to the owner helping me tracked some socks from another store.

I walked in and was quickly greeted by both employees & approached by Caroline. I expressed that I was in a rush, needing to leave in 30 minutes to catch a flight. I told her about my activities, past shoe preferences, and needs. She measured my foot, gave me 3 amazing options, and even let me try some socks which I loved. As a religious asics consumer I was stunned that the Brooks brand were even more comfortable. In 24 minutes I was out the door and my feet have never felt better!!

They provide great service here and I highly recommend coming here if you're looking for a comfortable pair of shoes, especially for running! They answered all of my questions and helped me get the correct pair of shoes I need. I ended up getting a pair of Cloud Flyer & Saucony, which are both awesome brands and I highly recommend looking into them.

Point 2 Running had amazing customer service! They had us walk on the floor over a sensor to see the contour of our feet and then had us walk or run on a treadmill to see if there were any irregularities. After that, they recommended shoes to us that were so comfortable! They were even cheaper than the same shoe on Amazon. My podiatrist, Dr. Brassell at HROSM recommended them and he was spot on!

the lady best specializing shoe store I've ever been in. they put you thru alot of lil exercises like running on the treadmill for about 1 minute step on some kind of foot board and and walk on a pad on the floor.  they have all the tools to get you in the right shoes. excellent staff erbody was nice smiling and enjoying their jobs and customers. they sell  clothes bras protein powder sandals etc

Wanted to share something that just happened that is proof this is THE company to go to. During a really bad rain/hail storm my car died in front of the Newport News location. Haley, Lauren, and Steven jumped into action to help me, gave me a towel when I was SOAKED trying to help, and made sure I was safe during the storm. This level of compassion and customer service is so above and beyond for someone who isn't even a customer shows if they'll do this for someone off the street, you KNOW they'll take great care of their customers.  10/10 recommend then to everyone who runs!!

Bought a pair of Saucony Vendetta 3 spikes for my son.  Ordering was easy and the shoes arrives surprisingly fast!  When I don't know a certain company, I make sure to check reviews, etc before ordering online.  This was a great experience and I would order from them again.  Also----got an awesome deal on the shoes!
