What a nice area for a picnic. We were traveling down from Vancouver BC heading to Portland and I wanted a quick, not too far off I5 place to have some lunch that was also in the shade. This fit all the criteria and had some charm as well.
Beautiful place to walk, a little bumpy at times for a stroller but doable on most areas, but not entire trail. Info signage and a stream. Simply relaxing.
Lovely little park. Flat, woodsy, near a large creek. Trails are dirt and some are a couple feet wide, while others are narrow and overlap with ferns, etc. Many, many huge old-grow stumps. Has a small parking lot. Has had a fair amount of restoration work...
What a delightful find while exploring Whatcom County. Great place to explore and learn. The only reason I gave it 4 stats is because the outhouse was horrible! The smell was atrocious. Other than that, Beautiful! Love it. I will go back.
It's a nice place to visit, take a walk and just relax.
A beautiful, but small park along Friday Creek. Pretty well maintained trails, passing trees dripping with moss and licorice ferns. Lots of benches and there are also picnic tables. I spent about an hour here, taking photos and following all the trails that I found. Worth stopping by if you're in the area.
This is a nice little park. Took 5 mins to jog around. listening to the water sound is very relaxing
Great nature trail. Gorgeous trees and a quiet creek. Typically nobody is here so it's a nice place to go for a quiet walk....
Very cool park but bathroom was flooded when I was there
Nice little park right next to a creek and fish hatchery. Took our dogs here and they loved it but the loop is very short. This would be a fun place in the summer time as there are picnic spots with barbecues and a PortaPotty.
