Pretty poor dining experience. I'd give this experience a 1.5/5 if I could. I only ordered one entree and it took 45 minutes. I ordered street tacos. When they were served, I thought it was a joke cause the portions were laughably small, almost like a kids' meal. I paid over $16 for them. Also the street tacos were not served with onions and cilantro like you'd expect from a street tacos order. Trash and leftover food under all tables and staff was unprofessional and cursing often. I am only giving this 2 stars because I enjoyed the taste of the tacos. Food: 2.5/5 Service: 1/5 Atmosphere: 1/5
I eat at Posados regularly because I like the food and the service and very reasonable prices. On my most recent visit I ordered chicken enchiladas with tomatillo verde sauce but was served enchiladas with sour cream sauce. I could have returned my meal but I was hungry and wanted to eat. I like the sour cream sauce as well as the verde sauce so it wasn't a big deal for me. Maybe if servers were allowed to write down customer's orders, mistakes like this wouldn't happen.
Had a great experience with my kiddos after taking them to the doctor this morning! My server Phillip was super attentive and awesome! I’ve been a server for 12 years and even I was VERY impressed with his service! We will be back with our whole family next time and request Phillip specifically! We never had to ask for anything or look for him!
Just go ahead and find a different Mexican restaurant in the area. The service was terrible. Food was prepared incorrectly, had to ask for everything i.e. napkins, utensils, honey for the tortillas, and the waitress took the cash for our meal and made sure to ask 'You don't need change right?' which is very unprofessional. The attitudes of the hostesses and servers were "I don't care to be here, and I don't care that you know it." Have never been told that we couldn't have a highchair at a booth for a toddler until eating here. Just all around unpleasant experience for some Mexican food you can get anywhere else.
Usually I don’t give out bad reviews but I have to for this spot. This place was not packed when I went during dinner time. Our waitress with blue hair seem like she didn’t care about her job and never came back to check on our table for any refills or dessert. Also, the food was really a disappointment as well. My chimichanga looks like the eggrolls you get from the grocery stores. My rice was dry and the beans were probably the best. Chips and salsa needs to be updated by another chef. I would not likely come back to this restaurant due to overprice on food that looks like it could be done at home.
The food wasn't anything spectacular. It was hot and fresh but nothing blew us away and the white queso tasted weird. The service was slow and it was an off time of day without many other customers. Photo shows the sauce sampler appetizer.
Horrible service. The server told the hostess “no” when we sat in her section, as in she did not want to wait on us. She did not greet us or respond to us at all. Super awkward because it was very obvious she did not want to be at work. Love the food but this was so uncomfortable, we left before even ordering food. I’m in shock she didn’t even pretend to want to take our order. This is wild bec I was with my parents and my dad is a big tipper so it’s not like we didn’t fit in.
Cheese was not hot or cooked in my enchiladas. Beans had no taste at all except yucky. The mushroom we got as an appetizer was excellent. We won't go back. Kid-friendliness: He liked his quessadilla and frys
It was hot as balls inside. So hot, it felt cool outside when we left... in louisiana in mid-June! Appetizers were bleh... main dish was pretty good, but had a piece of broken plate in it... lucky I didn't Crack a tooth. And they only comp'd the salad with the piece of chipped ceramic in it... will not return.Food: 2/5
When we walked in the restaurant was almost hot. After a long work day this is the last thing you want to experience. And the server acted like we were an interruption to her get together she was having in the back. Then to top it off the food was mediocre at best. So this place is a no go for me.Food: 2/5
