Post Acute Medical Specialty

Not sure what’s going on here but they are short staffed and hire people who are inexperienced. Not sure who runs this place but father just got there and they are supposed to do an hourly check up which they have not done. They allow anyone to walk in so no security or anything. Idk how this place has some good reviews.

My dad received great care here in August 2022! He went in on a ventilator & they were able to wean him off it in a few days. Nurses & staff were all patient & caring. Many of the staff went over & above what was expected. I would highly recommend it.

I wouldn’t even give this place a one star but they make you…If you want your loved one to get the best possible care don’t bring them here!! This place is dirty and the care is absolutely horrible! My Mom was yelled at for pulling her call light to many times to go on the bed pan because she had a uti and they wouldn’t treat her for it until we yelled for them too…she kept saying she has stomach pain and they said it was “All in her head because 2 of her roommates passed away” Well she got super sick and come to find out she had a bowel blockage and fluid around her heart plus she was septic again due to the uti they didn’t want to treat. She also never got bathed or re positioned. So please if your love you family member re consider sending them here.

Was extremely pleased with the care and compassion my Dad received. I called every day and everyone I spoke to was always kind, knowledgeable and I was never made to feel like I was a bother. You get a patient partner who is your contact for any questions and I lucked out with Ricky. He was always so helpful and I felt like Ive known him for years. Would absolutely recommend!!

On behalf of my husband, Roy, I’m writing to commend the staff at P.A.M. and the director of nursing Ricky Rogalewicz for the excellent care given to him while he was in their care for nearly a month. Because of the withdrawal of lots of medications that were necessary post intensive care, my normally kind and easy going husband was often a difficult patient. With Ricky’s guidance the staff were able to transition my husband to the road of recovery. They acted with diligence and concern.

My wife was a patient at the Pam Facility in Wilkes-Berry PA in March 2021. She experienced some medical problems in the night. Dr. Almeky made himself available and provided the assistance necessary to provide peace of mind and proper care for her. As a result of his efforts, my wife was calmed and assured that she would be OK.

I had made a post as I was upset about many things. The hospital my son came from never explained what it was. Thanks to Heather and the entire team they all joined in a phone call and have gone out of their way to help me with my son. I truly thank them for reaching out. That's the sign of a great facility. Again thank you all.

This place was incredible. From the great care I received to get me back on my feet. Special to all the Doctors, nurses, house keeping and dietary. Special thanks to my nurses & aids, Lisa, Bethany, Dana, Andy,Tauge. Aids Dawn, Q, and Michaela. Also administration Kate, Dave Long CEO

Horrible experience for my mother. Three weeks without a doctor nurse giving me updated information on my mother’s condition. She was transferred here after being in the ICU not once did the doctor contact me on her condition she was sent home with nothing not even a packet on her condition or needs not even a walker which she needed from the strokes she had. Nobody knew anything they didn’t even know she had her feeding tube out horrible place.

PAM was a home-away-from-home for my mother...and myself. ALL of the staff were completely professional from the minute we arrived and ALWAYS addressed our needs! Truly the best of the best! <3
