If your regular carrier is out, good luck getting your mail. And don't even think about calling to speak with a supervisor. I have done this twice including today when I had mail issues and each time I was promised a call back after she checked with the carrier [substitute carriers in each case]. I never received call backs. Received the first missing mail days later. Still waiting to find out if one of my neighbors have my mail from today or if it's just riding around in the mail truck or whatever. Makes me wonder how much mail went missing before Informed Delivery. The service is useless if the post office just shrugs their shoulder when your mail is not delivered.
I have been living here 3 years now. I have had mail and packages sent back to sender and not delivered to me at least 6 times. Saturday the 31st of December they didn't even try to deliver my package, I was home and even seen it on the truck. I thought she would bring it when she finished at the mailboxes, but she just put a note in my box and left, even though she had to pass my apt to get out of the apartments. And it was supposed to be redelivered Tuesday and it is still not here. Why can't I receive my mail? I've been waiting for meds that was supposed to come last week from the VA Hospital.

This post office is full of thieves!!!! They have an organized theft ring going on. I have had mail delivered opened with contents missing and package cut open with all contents stolen from package. I only received an empty box…. The police need to investigate this post office location…
Again 8/5/2023 driver refuses to deliver to my apartment out of pure laziness. How can you deny a deliver because you can't fit a package in the mailbox. THAT'S WHY YOU HAVE FEET. They replaced my normal mailman with some new woman and it has been the worst experience of mail ever. I LOVE IT WHEN THEY HOLD MY FOOD ITEMS OVER THE WEEKEND BECAUSE THEY DON'T FEEL LIKE WALKING UP STAIRS. Won't make a attempt at delivering to my apartment complex on Sundays even though they have a access key and can get through the gates any other day of the week, delaying my orders.
My package is missing it’s saying someone picked up my package Saturday 3/4 at 6:04pm. How did I pick up my package if this location closes at 12pm on Saturdays. Where is my package it seems like it was misplaced or stolen.
I received an email stating my package was delivered at 3:22 p.m. on Saturday, 1/15/22. Since I was at home and no one knock on the door, I checked the mail box. There was nothing. I than checked the four cameras that I have on the front of my house. The cameras showed that the mail truck passed my home at 3:35 p.m. but did not stop. On Tuesday I called the Lake Forest P.O. twice. No answer. On Wednesday I went to the P.O. The lady that I spoke with took the tracking number and went to the back. She returned shorty and said that she tried calling the mail carrier but didn't get an answer. She took my number and said that when she speaks with the carrier she will call me back. I got no call. Thursday I went back to the Lake Forest P. O. I explained to another person what happened. She went into the back and returned shortly. The computers were down, the previous person that I spoke with was not in and she suggested that I call back later when the computers were working. I explained that I had done that twice before and no one answered. She than gave me another number to call to register my complaint. I called that number twice only to have to leave my name and number. I finally went online and called another number not sure where it landed and after pressing several numbers and leaving a message, someone called me back. The lady took my information and said that it will be investigated and I will be contacted in a few days. I should mention that each person that I spoke with was very polite and professional though not very helpful.
My mall carrier stopped passing, and this post office never answers their phone.
This post office has postal men an women misplacing/stealing packages ever sense hurricane Ida they're putting the package as being delivered or attempt delivered. Or it stays in a status saying package is running late for days after status saying it's going to be delivered on the same day then nothing is delivered. Then the status changes to it's on its way for days an still the post woman don't bring the package an is not delivering anything. She adding false delivery statuses to cover her tracks. I have shoes I've ordered an house decoration items still haven't delivered to my residence. I have cameras an would know if the post man delivered she don't deliver the packages at all they are stealing taking advantage of the storm hurricane Ida hitting New Orleans an think no one would go thru the proper channels to get a investigation done. But they have stolen the wrong person merchandise a whole bunch of the postal workers may need to be fired at the Lake Forest post office location. Update: Still haven't got my packages the mail carrier added a false pre-delivery false attempt delivery again she has not made any attempts to deliver an didn't leave a card for the attempt delivery an no confirmation on the next attempt delivery she can't because she never made the first attempt why? not leaving the pink postal note card so I can go to this location post office to pick up my package. why? is the reason for her not leaving a attempt delivery note card. I'll answer it's because she never tried to deliver she is stealing my packages. An how I know she is taking my packages because she has tried it already. Once I put in the investigation she gave my merchandise up. An a pair of shoes look to have been wore on the sole there's dirt from being walked in of the shoes also the packing was ripped open. If something don't get done about this/Lake forest postal location I'm going to file a police report on my items stolen by my mail carrier. I've went thru the proper channels already my next step is to call the police to get my packages.
I literally watched the mail carrier NOT PLACE MY PACKAGE IN MY MAILBOX AND MARKED IT AS DELIVERED IN MAILBOX. Blew my mind. Of course I was unable to contact anyone about it. So whoever the lady wasnot normal carrier got a brand new dress and shoes. ‍ Guess it was considered a bonus.
