The key characteristics of this post office are. 1 There is always a line. 2 There is only ever one employee working at the counter, regardless of how many employees are constantly walking by and noticing the line. 3 The longer the line, the less likely an employee will go and work the desk. The location is great, the employees are friendly if you ever get to one, but it should never take nearly 30 minutes to get through 6 customers.
Called Again 2/15/22 for a package delivery issue. Got a staff member on the who was super helpful, tracked the package and told me what to do next. No, my packages don't always arrive on time, but when I call or stop by this office, these people are super helpful! Thanks and good work!! I've been able to call the post office, reach someone not always the manager and I have received the assistance I need to solve the problem. This includes looking within the post office, and ALSO includes getting the route person involved who has contacted me directly to resolve issues. If you think you'll get better than this from any other public service office, good luck. I'm happy with this office!!

She is excellent at her job, very reliable, responsible and knowledgeable post lady. She is punctual and organized in her job. Ms.Frihiwot is approachable and delightful to talk to regarding news to come about the postal service. Keeping her customers informed when expected mail might arrive and aware when certain things, such as the covid test will be arriving. I like the employees who have all been there a long time. However it always takes forever. Even if there isn't a huge line I find that I'm waiting and waiting and waiting. I usually go to the post office by my work now since they are faster. To save even more time I've started packing my own stuff, using a food scale and tape measure, and printing my own labels. Now I just walk in to any store and drop my packages in the basket. No line, no wait, no more problems.
I have several post offices nearly as close to my house is this one so I have a wide selection, but I find this one is the best. It has the friendliest staff of the local post offices. I tend to ship out a decent amount of packages and receive decently large number aswell. This location makes it easy. Some of my Packages weren't being delivered, so I came in to ask what the issue is and the staff despite having a large line didn't rush me and quickly handled my issue.
Frihiwat has been my mail carrier for about 6 years now and I have not had any issues with her delivering any packages or mail. She has always been great at her job.
I went to the post office today and complained that I wasn't receiving my mail. So, a "Supervisor" was called from the back. The supervisor dragged her feet to get out to the front, I waited 5 min. When she came out she was a rude African American woman with gold weave & and sparkly red Uggs. I relate to the African-American Community tooI explained my problem to her and she: Crossed her arms and Shrugged her shoulders at my concerns !!! I was shocked that she didn't give a squat. So, I explained to her in great detail that I've never experienced a problem with my mail in the 10+ years that I've lived at this address. At that point she thought of a solution to assist me with my problem, which I greatly appreciate. However, there are plenty of other employees that I have had multiple encounters with that are more than capable of being a supervisor at this location. This particular supervisor with the sparkly red Uggs, need some more customer service training please and thank you. She was unnecessarily rude !
This is not the closest post office to my home, but it is the one I go to the most. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the supplies are always well stocked. I often ship to other countries and the staff is very good at getting the right customs forms. This is a very busy post office so lunch usually has a crowd, but they also have 3-4 windows open at a time. I have never tried to call the post office- I usually check stuff online or expect to have to go in so I don't know about the other comment.
The service was fine. The actual facility inside and out are depressed, dirty and not maintained. The surfaces were dirty and smudged , the windows and glass doors in the lobby were foggy and the carpet in the lobby needed to be vacuumed. The floor inside looked like it could use a power washer to get it cleaned. The build up of dirt and grime looked cemented to the tile. The parking lot is filled with leaves, and it it hard to identify a parking spot , the trees are overgrown and landscaping is warn out and uprooted. This isn’t the only location that is in such a state.
I find that often times a company or a government business should be reviewed on how things both good and bad are handled. The manager of the location made us true believers that this location is wonderful. A package that was held for us had accidentally been misplaced when we went to pick it up. That same manager took time out of her day to not only correct the issue by finding the package but she also personally delivered it to our home... unheard of in 2018. She has made my wife and I firm believers that she has the best interests of her customers at heart. Now, we could be upset with the issue but how it was resolved speaks volumes of the personnel.
