The Official Facebook Page of Pre-College Programs at Wright State University.
The Office of Pre-College Programs (OPCP) was founded in 1988 as part of Wright State University’s (WSU) commitment to community outreach. As a metropolitan university, the concept of outreach is vital to WSU. Pre-College provides a unique opportunity for the university to expand its outreach efforts by providing a comprehensive set of academic and experiential hands-on enrichment programs for students in grades K-12. The specific enrichment programs offered by the Office of Pre-College Programs include: Discovery (summer program; grades K-6), Camp Odyssey (summer program; grades 7-9), Residential Camps and Institutes (summer program; grades 6-12), Kids on Campus (academic year program; grades K-6), and Upward Bound (academic year and summer program; grades 9-12). Each program is designed to provide rigorous and challenging learning experiences for students. Program and individual course objectives are developed for each program and are evaluated each year.
To provide and promote appropriate educational and enrichment programs for a diverse K-12 pre-college population.
