By 2 year old was SO excited to try gymnastics. She can be very shy and timid so I was excited for her when she was eager to get out on the mats. Our experience was unfortunately not a great one. We were done after 15 minutes. The coach did not seem to be trained to work with such young kids. My daughter was definitely distracted but she was in a new environment....and is 2.5. The coach was just constantly screaming my daughters name over and over. Not encouraging her or modeling, but yelling at her. I felt there were much better ways to get a child's attention. She then modeled 5 stations at one time. way too much for a little one to grasp all at once. When my daughter was a little confused and didn't do it correctly one hand instead of 2 she was again yelled at. She began to tear up and the coach didn't try to help or encourage her, instead just looked to me to tell me she was crying. I tried to encourage my daughter to go back out there, but then I realized, ya know, I wouldn't want to be out there either...so we left. Mind you, there was only 1 other child in this class. So I feel the coach definitely could have spent a little extra time helping a new gymnast. Really hoping this coach was just having a bad day. I know we're all human. Just really disappointed in our experience.
Our daughter loves coming here! Her instructors are so sweet and patient. In just 3-4 weeks she was moved up to the next class due to her incredible instructors! We will continue to come and recommend this gymnastics club to any and every parent looking for an extracurricular activity for their kids!
My daughter just started but so far we’ve been very happy with her experience. The office admin responded to my questions quickly. My daughter was very overwhelmed the first lesson walking in but her teacher Ms. B made her feel comfortable and confident that within 5 minutes of class starting she was all smiles and had a blast. She has been upset every afternoon since that we haven’t been going for another class.
Premier gymnastics is a 5 Star gym all the way. From their top of the line gymnastics equipment, the clean and safe facilities, to the expert coaching staff. At Premier your athlete will be encouraged, motivated, and energized. The coaching staff at Premier are fully invested in seeing your athlete grow and develop.
We have had a good experience at this gym. It’s our first experience with gymnastics, but have had a great time and our daughter loves coming. They change the little kids tumbling decor for the different seasons and keep the classes small so the teacher can focus on the children. They give online progress reviews and the coaches will also tell you verbally at the end as well. Ms. Abby is the best coach for the little ones. She is very structured and keeps all the kids in line.
I can not say enough about Premier. They are beyond 5 stars. My niece goes every Sunday to her class and she is a very shy girl. Every coach there makes her feel so comfortable and like she’s apart of the team. They take the time with the kids to ensure they really understand what they’re learning as well as each child gets a chance to do the exercises. There is space for parents and aunts to watch during each class without disrupting the classes. I am glad we found Premier and glad it continues to amaze us each session.
My daughter started at Premier at just 13 months in their mommy & me program. She loves it and the staff and coaches are great. We’ve had Ms. Abby as our teacher the entire time and the commitment she has to the kids is amazing. She is never out, and for the most part we have never had a stand in teacher. The consistency has been great for my daughter! We will continue to move her through the program at Premier as their rates, customer service, and quality of service has been amazing.
This gym is truly amazing! My daughter has been going for almost a year and we are so glad we found it! Coach sean is by far the best! he is very skilled and very patient at teaching these young kids! I’ve always had a positive attitude from every staff there! They offer a wide variety of class times and days to help any schedule. Their portal helps stay up to date with our kids improved skills.
The staff at premier are so friendly and knowledgeable. We are new to the area and this is the first time my daughter has actually been ecstatic about going to class. She’s really engaged and we can’t be happier with the teachers. Very clean and spacious.
