Having served the Hagerstown and surrounding community for nearly 20 years, Hagerstown is the flagship site for Progressive Radiology with multiple locations throughout Maryland. As a community outpatient diagnostic imaging center generally recognized for Open MRI, we are now pleased to announce our second convenient location with the most advanced imaging technology available.
As the premier provider of MRI services in four states, Progressive Radiology is now offering the most advanced MRI systems available at the Hagerstown facility. They include: Hitachi Oasis High-Field OPEN MRI. This is the single-largest high-field open MRI available. It will accommodate even the most claustrophobic and large patients. Its large gantry, high-strength magnet and shorter scan times allow for a better patient experience and more accurate results than traditional open MRIs. Also now offered is a GE 3T Wide-Bore MRI that provides exceptional image quality while also considering patient comfort. This is the strongest telsa strength MRI specializing in small-bone anatomy, neuro studies, body imaging and musculoskeletal studies. As a wide bore, it enables a larger field of view which enhances the images and improves the overall study quality. Both magnets are ideal for interventional studies including orthopedic arthrograms.
This new location will also include CAT scan, Ultrasound and X-ray imaging. In all cases, these studies will be read by our own sub-specialty radiologists thus assuring the most accurate diagnostic results.

In addition to opening this new modern imaging facility, Progressive Radiology is very excited to announce its partnership with Ella Health for providing mammograms to the Hagerstown community. - Ella Health is opening its newest location on the ground floor of the Trilogy I building. As a free-standing mammography center specializing in strictly mammography, it is open and available to the public. Designed to enhance the mammo experience with its spa-like environment, Ella Health is offering the latest technology by utilizing 3D Tomography. Studies will be read by Progressive Radiology’s own women’s imaging specialty radiologist. Together, Ella Health and Progressive Radiology will combine to offer the most comfortable and reliable mammo experience available in the Hagerstown area.
