Proof is a wood eyewear company that manufactures it’s sunglasses from sustainable wood sources. The wood medium adds a warmth and look that other materials can’t replicate. The silhouettes of our eyewear are classic shapes and styles that anyone can appreciate.
Sustainability is a key component in Proof’s DNA. We only use woods that are harvested in a sustainable manner and won’t adversely impact the environment. We strive to look for opportunities to reduce our impact on the environment whenever possible; our packaging is even eco-friendly.

Proof has made a commitment to support worthwhile causes every chance it gets. We’ve partnered with an eye clinic in India, where ¼ of the world’s blind population resides, that performs sight-giving surgeries for those who can’t afford it. Proof donates a portion of each sale to this cause.
The Story of Proof Eyewear:
Proof got its start in a garage in Eagle, Idaho in 2010. The founders, 3 brothers, grew Proof to an internationally known brand that is sold globally. The roots of Proof began with the founders’ Grandpa Bud. His small sawmill opened almost 60 years ago and eventually grew into a nationally recognized company. Bud’s work ethic was instilled in Proof’s founders who grew up with “sawdust in their veins” working in the mill. The brothers pride themselves in providing original handcrafted products from sustainable materials. Proof Eyewear continues to innovate by offering a wide variety of products that aren’t just environmentally friendly, but also unique and trendy.
