What a treat to have a fresh German working bakery with hearty rustic breads. They make stacked sandwiches also along with some of the best oatmeal cookies and whole peanut cookies I've had. It's a small counter business that serves customers coffee and pastries and breads with limited seating. Their hours are early for the breakfast and lunch crowd. I'd recommend Pure Grain for sure.
I bought this “cheesecake” for my grandmas 60th birthday. When I bit into it , it was just crumbly tasted like if they added flour. It was super dry , it was like if I ate a spoonful of cornstarch.
This place is AMAZING!. Their bread is so good. Fresh warm, and delicious. I had an almond pastry and sandwich with coffee all we were so good
Friendly staff and really good pastries
Horrible service @ 2:30 pm on a Thursday, not busy. I ordered and paid for 4 sandwiches. I was served 3 sandwiches. 2 of which were shorted tomatoes b/c they were out of that ingredient. For this, I was still charged the full price for Pure Grain shorting me. When my order arrived, the clerk who rang me up has already left her shift. I calmly told the manager of the missing 4th sandwich, she argued with me claiming I only paid for 3 sandwiches. She demanded that I emptied the contents of my bag when she could have just checked with the staff who has just finished making me the sandwiches. Then she went to the office to check on the charges. After taking her sweet time, she returned and directed the staff to make me my 4th sandwich, went back to her office, never an apology. Even though she did not personally make the mistake, it was her store, her staff, all of which she is responsible for. Moreover, she made the situation worst by her rudeness, being argumentative, and making false assumptions that I would lie! Never coming back! Awful customer service, self-righteous. Pure Grain Cafe manager, out of 10 stars rating, your people skills are below zero! Why are you in "customer service" and "store management"?
Have never had a bad meal served from this amazing little bakery shop. They have very amazing and tasty bakery items, as my co-workers frequently purchase and share in the office. I've always tried two main items, first is their breakfast burrito, ham, egg and cheese add bacon, then split it with one of my coworkers, because one is too big for me to consume at one setting, without a nap right behind it. The other item I usually always get, breakfast croissant, ham, egg, pepper jack cheese and yes add bacon, and this is a tasty way to start the day and then maybe a very light, light lunch. I would highly recommend this little bakery spot though, and they offer lunches as well. Never been disappointed in over two years. Enjoy and bon appetit
I have been going to this place for lunch for a couple -ish weeks. Definitely call your order to be made prior to coming for quicker service. Today I ordered a sandwich from there that they do not make at this location. I picked it up, got back and did not like the sandwich they made instead. I called, spoke to the manager. She heard my concerns, quickly came up with a solution, and resolved the issue. I am impressed and happy.
Service has always been good for me. I don't really order the food but my brother loves them. I just like getting the coffee here, it tastes good. Best part: it's only 0.5 miles from my neighborhood!
They do a great job on sandwiches a fantastic job on bakery products that are not too sweet I think you will enjoy them give it a
Excellent desserts. Left me wanting more. The two young people working were super friendly and very helpful. 10/10 wil go back again
