Arrived after 3 to be told we had a 30 minute wait on our room 2.5 hours later we myself, a 6 year old and a 7 year old, had a room! We waited in the freezing cold lobby. The pool was closed, we were not aware as this was a reason we chose this motel. We missed other evening opportunities due to the extensive wait for the room. Several other quests were also waiting. Once in the room it was noted stains on the bedding, bathroom trash not emptied and the room needed a good dusting. The tub also drained very slowly when showering to the point of almost overflowing. No credit offered and declined when asked. No supervisor to speak with. Breakfast was not appealing at all. Never again!
Dog friendly. Complimentary breakfast. Very friendly staff. Clean, inviting rooms. Restaurant Ground Round in conjoining parking lot. ~ Airport activity is audible in the rooms.
We found bugs in our room they resembled baby cockroaches but were unsure. Whatever it was was crawling everywhere and all over our stuff on the bathroom sink which is in the room itself we washed everything and showered right after because it was disgusting. Many other types of bugs. Overheard staff talking about the front desk booking rooms before the housekeeping was able to clean and they would get in trouble for dirty rooms but it wasn’t on them. There were wires hanging out of our heater they said it was fine at the front desk we had a toddler with us so we decided to pack up and leave. They did refund us for the night we didn’t stay but we never got any type of apology or anything from the lady she barely spoke to us while returning our keys. You have to walk in the front door but park way out to the side so if you have lots of luggage or kids I wouldn’t recommend it in the winter. There was a lot a little things wrong with our room or just didn’t look clean. The shower drain did not drain at all while you were showering and took hours to drain after. We had problems with our door locking they fixed that when we told them. We hope they they do some improvements but unfortunately we won’t be back due to the bugs. They really creeped my family out.
This was the best hotel we stayed in all week, 6 in total. Excellent service, very clean rooms and bathrooms. Hotel is not new but the upkeep has been exceptional by all involved. Stayed 27 March 2023. Rooms: The room was clean and comfortable as if you were in your own home. Food & drinks: The breakfast area and food were very best. Friendly staff here too. Clean, good lighting.
HEADS UP! This hotel goes under both Bangor Suites Airport Hotel and Quality Inn Bangor Airport. My experience has not been bad by any means but I found it odd that it's under both names. It's cheap and the king bed I'm sleeping in is of poor quality. Overall stay is not unbearable as long as it's the cheapest option around.Rooms: 2/5
If I could give a zero star I would. Our hockey team reserved a room block in advance mind you.... Check in was at 3pm, got told rooms weren't ready yet, went back to the rink for our second game and came back around 6 still no rooms ready. We were told that they were out buying sheets for all the beds.... I didn't get into my room until 8:30pm and most of our team cancelled and went somewhere else or drove home due to the awful wait. No refund or anything was offered for this. Also there were tons of other people who also had to deal with this same issue as they came into the hotel.
Supposed to be non smoking rooms but room smells of stale smoke. Room is dingy but bedding was clean. No elevator for people with luggage. Two charges on my credit card, why?! No shuttle to airport and taxi service is unreliable. Stay somewhere else!!Rooms: 1/5
Low life is the high life. Stayed 1 week and had to request room cleaning. I was told, they did not enter rooms so nothing was stolen. Hmmm, that's BAD you worry about the thieves you have for housekeeping. Rooms: Decently clean. Safety: Ehhh, looks like lots of transients.
Horrible. There was a cockroach in our room. The ceiling had cracks, water stains and was drooping. The building was very run down. The back entrance did not lock. The pillows were horrible. The room wasn’t that clean. The wifi did not work at all. However it is located in a good spot. 10/10 would not recommend staying there.Rooms: 1/5
This is a good value no frills hotel. Rooms are clean and well laid out with a separate vanity outside the bathroom. Room has a table and chairs big enough to eat a small meal, microwave and fridge. Small indoor pool area. Close to downtown, the mall, and the airport. Staff is pleasant. Breakfast is standard fair with waffles and some warm items.
