The location was the best thing about this hotel. This should not be in the Choice hotels line up. Upon arrival the lobby had a leak and it seemed to have a mold like smell. The first room I was place in was horrible, then was placed into a second room. We found Blood on the sheets, ceiling peeling and the room smelled like mold. Tried to make the best of it. Upon waking up at 430am I saw a roach like bug crawling in the bathroom and ended my stay early.
BUYER BEWARE!!!! THESE ROOMS LOOK NOTHING LIKE THE ADVETISMENT. COMPLETE SCAM. THE ROOM I WAS GIVEN WAS ABSOLUTELY THE MOST DISGUSTING AND UNEXCEPTABLE PLACE I EVER VISITED. THIS PLACE SHOULD NOT BE ON THE LIST OF HOTELS TO STAY.. I arrived on 7/26 about 8:30 pm. I was given room 102. I thought the room would be decent, safe, and clean. I dropped off my bags into the room and proceeded to vacation. Finally later when I returned into the room. I took a second look. I couldn't believe my eyes...THIS ROOM WAS A NIGHTMARE!! IT REALLY LOOKED LIKE IT WAS OUT OF A HORROR MOVIE SCENE. The room stunk with a odor. I saw roaches on the bed and head board. Instead of leaving right there, I still tried to make the best of it because it was now 3:00 in the morning and I was tired... I was so skeptical, and disturbed by this time, I tried changing my own sheets. I got from a near by family member who I was visiting, and when I removed the sheets from the bed, it was all over for me. It looked like a crime scene out of a movie!! It was blood soaked stains in the mattress, and other questionable stains, on the bed. Then i took my phone light and looked closer at the edge of the bed and under the pillow...it was bed bugs, and roaches, the light fixtures were broken. I was right the sheets were dirty, and there was cigarette burns throughout the sheets and comforter. Mold through out the shower, a broken smoke detector that was detached from the wall, big and tiny holes in the walls, the walls were peeling paint. And one set of stained, dengy, towels that was qestionable. After i took pictures of the room for my proof, I then went back to the front desk. To make a complaint. The front desk clerk, treated me as if I caused all the problems, then the manager, gave me two other rooms to check out. The keys didn't work. By this time, I FELT LIKE I WAS IN A HORROR MOVIE, AND I WAS THE NEXT HARVEST. I WENT BACK TO THE FRONT DESK CLERK, I TOLD HER, THE KEYS DIDN'T WORK. SHE THEN ASKED ME... "DID I TRY TO OPEN THE DOOR IN A CERTAIN WAY." I THEN TOLD HER..."It shouldn't be a magical way to open a room door." That looked like it was kicked in a few times in the past. I was COMPLETELY DONE!!! It was now 3:55 and i was tired. I asked for a refund and the manger refunded me half of my money he stated... "I was there already for 4 hours." I told him..." If I didn't try to change the sheets, I wouldn't have known what I was about to sleep on. I could have become sick. The front desk clerk words to me were..." The room is fine, I sleep here and my family dose too." ‍ I gave them the keys and walked away.
Dirty rooms and beds, hole in bathroom walls and furniture is dirty or beat up ..Service was horrible I got kicked off the property for asking for a service that they kept failing to provide…. More recent incident I gave them my laundry which can be dropped off and picked up between 10:30am and 3:00pm and I never got my laundry back and when I asked about it they told me to come back tomorrow. I just don’t understand if you can provide service to empty rooms why not take care of the people paying to stay. If you guys can’t provide basic housekeeping just shut the building down because that’s all guest need help with being that you don’t allow them to do it their selves Rooms: Not up to par.. needs a lot of work.
My partner and I arrived to room 120 where mold was everywhere cigarette Burns were all on the comforter and sheets. When I pull the sheet back there was dried-up blood on the mattress protector that you can see from the fitted sheet. The front desk was notified about the hazardous conditions. We were treated as though we were problem. I explained to him that I'm in the healthcare field and being exposed to blood could cause illnesses that are irreversible. I highly recommend that you inspect your room thoroughly.
What an absolute dump. Mold in the shower and on shower curtain; busted, nonfunctional outlet without cover; filthy; smoke reeking; burn holes in comforter and bed sheets; broken walls; cracked toilet base; food splatters possibly blood? on the walls; wall lamp with no bulbs and electrical wire to nothing; sharp metal bracket on the wall holding nothing; Absolutely disgusting. Was booked very late at night over the phone with Choice Hotels, who assured me it had a 3.5 rating on Google at the time of stay and this review it is 2.8, and there's no way it won't continue to plummet. I was also assured there was breakfast available 6am-9am, and there wasn't, although I probably wouldn't have eaten anything they had to offer. A horrible experience. But at least we didn't get mugged or eaten by bed bugs.
False advertisement. No pool. Closed down. Rooms to pricey to look how they look. Roaches, ppl out all time of hours while u trying 2 sleep. Had a power outage and they didn't even have a generator! Y'all some clowns and need 2 be shut down if u not gone fix the place up. PERIODRooms: 2/5
