We had a family wedding. Was the perfect place and the perfect day. The park has all you need for a day away from home. A Pavillion with a kitchen and lots of plugs to keep your food ready to eat. We had a blast from 4 til close.
It is a great place with easy access to the beach. There were people around, but it was not busy at all. Great for kids to play at the playground would benefit from a new set and in the calm water. No lifeguards. Playground: Needs updating. Picnic area: Covered and uncovered picnic tables.
Nice little hideaway not busy when I stopped. I seen some people swimming. Beautiful place just to sit and watch the Lake.
Lovely little park. Has pavilions you can rent, bathrooms, beach access, and a playground for the kids. Pets are also welcome.
I've been coming to this park since childhood. It's a BEAUTIFUL little spot on the Lake Erie shoreline with a small playground for kids, one pavilion that you can reserve with a kitchenette and one that's available for anyone to use, a bluff that overlooks the lake, and a little creek that meanders down to the lake. Recently, my sister had her wedding here. They did their service up on the bluff and the reception down at the pavilion. The kitchenette is small but very nice with running but not potable water. If you're looking for a nice stop to take some beautiful photos and enjoy the beach, this is a great option off the beaten path.
We very much enjoyed our visit to Racoon Park. The restrooms were clean and there were plenty of picnic areas to accommodate the number of people that were there. The beach is sandy, not covered in rocks.
Great little park on the beach with a pavilion and restrooms. At the time of this review they had just paved in a new sidewalk and benched around the playground Restrooms: Clean restrooms here that were unlocked
One of your County's best parks for hiking in the natural and not commercialized awesome Lakefront Recreation Area ample steelhead fishing both in Lake Erie as well as up Raccoon Creek through the park which is over 60 Acres and bordered by Pennsylvania state game lands.
Nice park with plenty of space. Has a playground for the kids and beach access.
Nice views of the lake. Small playground but still under construction.
