My kids loved it at first until the coaches stopped making it fun. My son would get so excited to participate in drills and the coaches would punish him for his overexcitement by making him sit in the bleachers and saying its because he wasn’t listening. I understand, as a mother of two very active boys that an overexcited kid can be hard to deal with at times which is why we decided to supplement with gymnastics to burn off some energy. But when its counteracted by sending a kid away instead of giving instruction then i would rather take them to the park. It was so sad to experience my child crying every class because he wasn't allowed to participate and not understand why. If you have active kids that tend to get distracted i would recommend taking them elsewhere because the coaches don't seem to have the patience to deal. I wish it could have worked out here because my kids really did love participating and were so good at it but unfortunately it was not a good fit.
They hosted a kiddies party for us and it was well organized and fun. The coach and owner was friendly and quite interactive with parents and children. He was also quite disciplined as everything started and ended on time. Kuddos

My family loves RC Grymnastics Academy because the owners and staff are always kind, patient and attentive to the kids. They take time with each child and are always positive. My girls have had class here, as well as many birthdays parties and we have never been disappointed.
This is a really great place to have your child or children start gymnastics my daughter has been going here for a couple months now and absolutely loves it. All the instructors are awesome and and friendly and great with the children. They are also reasonably priced.
RCGA is a great place for our kids. I love that they have an open gym. This is a great opportunity to test the waters to see if your kid is interested in gymnastics with out making a commitment to coaching sessions. We have one child in a class and two others that enjoy the open gym. My child that takes the class enjoys practicing routines and courses while the other two just love to play around in the open gym. The coaches do an exceptional job training the kids. They make it fun for them but at the same time teach our children discipline and training for competive gymnastics. Thanks for working so hard and making it a place that my children enjoy attending!
We love it here! Our kids have shown such fantastic progress over the last year. The coaches have the perfect combination of toughness & compassion. Kids really do need both! Sarah and Tim have been wonderful to work with as well.
We absolutely LOVE the open gyms on thursdays! Although we forgot about them the last two times I want to start my daughter in classes here soon because she clicks with one of the open gym teachers and tells me how much she loves her and loves the place. She has a lot of fun and we like it better than the place down the road. The only complaint is that if you do go to the open gyms there are some parents that don't really watch their kids and let them run loose to do whatever so make sure you watch your kids especially if they are super young.
We enrolled our eight year old daughter at the academy and she loves it. They are priced right and the instructors are very involved with teaching the kids good form and technique. It is great to see her get better and better every week. Highly recommend the Academy.
Best gymnastics place in town. Friendly and talented staff. I recommend trying it to see if it works for you and your family.
