This was a cool place to see all the different types of vegetation that grows in the desert. Everything is labeled and very well taken care of. Great little spot to let the kids burn some energy and run around. They liked seeing all the cactuses.
This place was gorgeous! The different plants were incredible and we saw so many small animals. The kids absolutely loved exploring! It wasn't busy at all around 5pm. We enjoyed ourselves. Best part is that it was free and plenty of parking. We just walked right in.Visited onWeekendReservation recommendedNoPrice for adult entryFree
It's a great plan for the weekend or for wintertime, but if you have time and want the whole garden for yourself, go during the week. Don't forget to climb to the top for amazing views. Not only is it recommended for kids, but adults will have fun too.
Outstanding place to visit. Clean and well maintained. Plant displays are excellently organized. There are even windows in an artificial slot canyon to view fish, and also dinosaur tracks. The Garden is situated next to a red rock area that is great for family hiking, and the views of St. George from the garden and red rock area are magnificent. Restrooms: Very well maintained.
Wonderful desert garden. Illuminates the beauty & diversity of the desert ecosystem. Well designed park with plant tags & information posts all over the park. Rare fish aquariums, waterfalls, slot canyons, dinosaur tracks & a rich variety of desert plants make this garden a fulfilling destination for recreation & inspiration.
Beautiful garden space with quite the variety of native plant species. Also cool fish that you can watch through the glass. Especially loved their collection of cacti, many of which I had never seen before. There were many stunning flower blooms when I visited. Also some fun art installations, such as the frog I uploaded. Dino tracks make this a fun place for kids to visit.
I had a fun time walking around here and seeing the variety of plants. I especially enjoyed the cacti. Even though this is right off the highway, I felt like this was a peaceful spot to enjoy the collection. The mini slot canyon was admittedly not exactly impressive to adult eyes, but I bet it would be fun for little ones. The informational signs were fun with a nice design. This is a fun space to learn a bit more about plants and nature.
Beautiful area to walk in amd enjoy. You learn alot about the desert plants that are native to area. Watch carefully where walk, lizards Zipp across path ways. Or watch the flowers, you may catch a hummingbird getting a drink.
This is been the most beautiful Garden that I had visited. This is a cactus heaven. The place is immaculate. I was extremely impressed how well keep and take care of is, Everything is so clean and plants looks very healthy. Everything is labeled so you can really enjoy and learn about native plants. They have small river with small fish and 3 windows where you can enjoy the underwater view. The place have swings so you can enjoy small break and the view is pretty amazing. Hiking trail are really easy. If you get to the top you will get to enjoy a spectacular view of St. George Town and the gorgeous mountains. It is uphill but not difficult. Few parking spaces, main one is at front and the other ones are close to the Hiking trails. I was really impressed too about the operation hours, wich are fantastic so you can enjoy a beautiful sunrise or sunset. If you go early you will have more time to enjoy other beautiful places. They have special holiday decorations for everyone to enjoy. Definitely a must to go place in st. George Town. Family friendly. Pet friendly kind reminder, pick up after your pet please! and keep them on a leash Restrooms are clean. Handicap accessible. Free for everyone Really close to town Playground: Small Dinosaur tracks and plenty space for kids to walk around. Restrooms: Clean Dog-friendliness: Pet allowed on a leash
