Recently I had purchased a pair of boots at Redwing, and sadly the fit had not been right. My feet had been in a lot of pain. The store manager Dorothy not only worked with me to figure out what exactly was wrong, but also took the time to understand my exact needs. She took care of the exchange, found me a pair or work shoes that feel great and feel amazing. I’m very grateful to Dorothy for being kind, understanding, and passionate about what she does. I’m looking forward to the years I will get out of these shoes, and my next shopping experience with y’all.
Walked in the store looking to buy my first pair of Red Wing shoes and had the best experience. Carlos helped me find the perfect fit shoe using the digital scanner, which turned out gave me the wrong sizing. But with one look the other employee who I believe was the manager/supervisor knew exactly what was wrong and was able to pair me with the perfect fit. Thank you! I will be back for all my boot needs.
I had a great customer service experience at this Red Wing Shoes store on Central Ave. Yonkers, N.Y. Store #272. My company had purchased all of their employees new Red Wing Shoes from the Red Wing Shoe truck. I tried on the boots and made my decision to purchase them. When I got them home, I noticed they were a little tight on the ankle which felt uncomfortable. I called and spoke to the store manager Dorothy and she went above and beyond to help me with making an exchange for a better shoe which fit perfectly. Dorothy returned all of my phone calls and updated me of when my new shoes had arrived at her store. She is very professional, kind, and took great care of me. I can't thank her enough! Thank you again!
I was there today 7-24-2023 at 3:30pm with my husband,trying to buy a pair of boots and the sale person was very rude, she was very nice to another costumer but not to us. They need to work on costumer service. Boots are very high price and the service is terrible.
The lady who helped me was awsome, patient, and listened to what I needed in my next work boot. Will be recommending this store central avenue yonkers to all my friends at work and anyone who ask for advice on work boot/shoes
The staff is real nice- But I bought boots and got to put them on 3 times, once in the store, once before work, and once the next day. Stitches already failing on these Irish Setter boots after one day Store can’t do anything but send them out for repair and that leaves me without steel toes for work. I feel like red wing should be better quality and at least stand by their product after a one day failure. These boots are defective and now I have to chase down a solution, last thing I need to spend time on....
I came in to buy a new pair of boots as mine were extremely worn out at the sole , and was met with both enthusiasm and a smile . I was informed that I could have the boots repaired, and was able to ship them out to do so , and was helped to buy another pair
Bought a pair of their heritage boots recently. Great boots, no complaints there. Do read up on them first to make sure you’re ready for the care they need and everything should be fine. But I really wanted to review this particular store. So look, this isn’t a bad store or anything. For a normal shoe store the service would be fine. But the fact is, these are $300-450 boots a lot of the time. I’d expect the staff to spend a little more time and energy with you, helping you with sizing, care advice, warranty, whatever. I don’t expect to be waited on hand and foot, but… the store wasn’t really that busy and I just felt like they could have done more. At least make some sort of effort in aid of helping the customer get the correct size. I had read all about the boots online so I pretty well understood that they run a full size large and how to break them in and stuff. Recommend this company highly for their products, but do yourself a favor and do the work.
Normally don’t write reviews but when I went to the store the worker Russell was very helpful, he explained the difference in each boots that would best suit me and even explained the feet scanning machine so I would have nothing but comfort when I worked. Wish they had ratings for workers because 10/10 service for Russell
I try to patronize local businesses, but most of these boots and shoes are made in Vietnam or Cambodia. So much for American made. Not a great selection in this store, and they never have my size in anything I like.
