This is one of the worst theaters I've ever been in. Like many locations, you can no longer buy tickets at the box office, you have to purchase them at the kiosk or at concessions. Problem is, the kiosk wasn't working, and at this location you cannot purchase tickets at the concessions unless you're buying concessions as well. I was told this is a new rule that they have to follow. Since I couldn't use the kiosk due to it not working, and since I wasn't buying concessions, I was forced to buy my tickets online, while standing in the theater. When you buy them online you have to pay a convenience fee of $5... The theater rooms themselves are very small and unimpressive. The room we were in, they did not fully turn off the overhead lights until halfway through the movie, and one of the lights had a constant flickering problem. Apparently the management at this location are too lofty to speak to the customers themselves, because I was told that they didn't have time when I asked to speak to them. Most definitely will never return to this location.
One major concern. While wheelchair accessible in the theaters all of the doors must be opened by hands and for someone who doesn't have use of hands or legs it doesn't help. In other WORDS, you need handicapp accessible DOORS people. How do you expect patrons to get in when they are in a wheelchair?
First thing I noticed was the theater screen is too small for the film ratio of the movie I was seeing. The projector bled over off the screen for at least 10 feet on EACH side because the canvas is just too small. The overall building and theater room were nice and clean, however they still use those super uncomfortable, cloth seats that don't recline. The walls are thin, and at times where the movie I was watching was quiet I could hear the other movie nextdoor. The temperature inside the theater was also very hot and humid. I came in wearing nothing but jeans and a t-shirt and was sweating the entire movie. Because of the blazing temperature in the theater, before the movie started I waited in a line for 15 minutes with only 2 people in front of me because of the slow counter staff running around not knowing what they're doing. When I finally got to the register and ordered a drink, I was told they don't take mobile payment, so I couldn't even get a drink to cool myself down. So they haven't updated their seats, their payment system, their air conditioning, walls, or screens. It's like this theater is stuck in the early 2000s and just refuses to do anything somewhat modern for the convenience of its guests.
The movie was great! Everything else...not so much. The tickets were overpriced at $18 each. The concessions were overpriced at $11 for popcorn and $6 for bottled water. We had to endure over 40 minutes of commercials, trivia, and previews before the movie even started! And the bathroom floors felt like they were mopped with the popcorn butter sauce. Be careful!
My family has always loved this theatre....we have always supported it. But..... Tonight was the absolute worst experience we have ever had. I realize they are understaffed but this was ridiculous. The staff was rude and took zero pride in working here. It was absolutely disgusting. The trash was piled up everywhere. The food was gross. Our drink was spilled by the employee and she didn't even acknowledge the fact and made no effort to help clean it up. There was still trash left from previous movies in our seats and floors. And, again...the staff treated us as if we were interupting their socializing. I LOVE THIS THEATRE.... I am truly saddened by this...
We went to the movies on Saturday night and these teens who were obviously movie hopping were being extremely disruptive .At first it was whatever but then they just became obnoxious. Another movie attendee asked them to be quiet. One teen said make me and became increasingly violent . They also kept coming in and out and walking up and down the stairs . We went to complain and the attendant said they were previously reported on so she would kick them out . They ran into another movie the attendant kicked them out . Not 30minutes later the same kids come back into the theater. So after I ask the attendants how were they allowed back in and they simply said someone must have let them in through a side door . I find this very concerning that people can be let in through a side door so carelessly . I advise people to attend a different theater that has more concern and awareness of your safety .
Pretty good theater. They did have a room temperature problem when I last visited. It was a bit cool outside but when we went inside the building it was better until we went into our theater room. It was definitely hot there. Several patrons had on jackets because of the cool weather but I noticed everyone was taking off jackets and sweaters. Unfortunately it was a longer movie as well. Other than that my experiences have been good so far.
I don’t normally do reviews and never like to leave a negative one but here I am. We’ve been here a few times and was never impressed really but tonight was much worse than previous the bathrooms were disgusting, the movie theater was dirty. The movie started an hour late with no warning from staff after asking we were was told additional 20 minutes more from the 45 minutes we had already waited with no warning due to whatever problems they had at that time starting the movie at 1130 immediately. As soon as the movie started it was so cold in there we couldn’t enjoy the movie with jackets on. Popcorn tasted bad and they wouldn’t sell anything else after we waited that long for it to start. We will never go back. I hope this message finds corporate. Terrible experience.
Most pitiful excuse for what was once a great theatre. Although the staff is sweet and helpful, management obviously does not care about their guests. We arrived for our movie, bought snacks and drinks and found our seats. The theatre was EXTREMELY hot, it was like sitting in a sauna. It easily had to be upwards of 90+ degrees. It was cold outside so everyone was dressed warm, but I couldn’t even shed enough layers to become comfortable. I immediately approached management asking if it was going to be fixed, they replied that it would not be fixed but that they would prop open the door to the theatre to allow some cool air in this never happened. They explained our only option was to leave the theatre and only then would they refund us. I wasn’t about to waste the hour commute and money spent on refreshments for absolutely nothing, so my family and I sat and profusely sweat for 2+ hours.
My wife bought Tickets to a movie . I was running ‍ late ,because I'm in the service industry and had to complete a job. I go in and let them know that my wife left a ticket for me. They emphatically said no sir, no one left a ticket, and they kept asking around. Then, the GM walks ‍ up and said "What's going on here?" I explain." " and he said "NO one did". So, I said "NO Big Deal " there was only 45 mins. left in the movie . So, I was out the door , when my wife text me where she was sitting C5 and, then I went back in and the employee she told was off his break and caught me and told the other employees that he knew of this. Here is were I'm at, he should have told Management that someone is coming in late. Second I should have received an apology for the mishap, BUT as you know people are TOO Prideful in this day and time. This Theater is ran ‍ by a group who are there for a check and don't really care about the product or experience of their customers . I pray that customer service can come back in our communities again . Thanks for reading . By a concern patron .
