Residence Inn Manassas Battlefield Park

Great location for a work/site visit. Updated lounge area that doubles as the breakfast area is well appointed, well laid out and functional. The gym has updated equipment and is kept very clean. The pool is good sized and well kept. Breakfast is good and rotates through different offerings each morning. Nice to see that some pandemic era health concerns are now in standard practice with regard to self-serv food safety. Rooms were clean and in great condition regarding maintenance. The desk staff was exceptional with reservations, including some back of house errors that were cleared up quickly and professionally.

I have stayed at this Residence Inn for over 5 years as I have family in the area. I always love it here. The people at the desk are so friendly and welcoming. The rooms are always immaculate. Breakfast was great! But don’t know what the problem was this stay 3 nights, I couldn’t get anyone to come to the room for fresh towels or get the garbage used to love having the bed made, too. I asked TWICE and the sweet person at the desk made a note of it. But…nothing. When I stay in a hotel I’d like fresh towels and garbage picked up. Someone used to make the bed, too.

Booking online we had two booked a two suite bedroom, after which coming to the hotel they said it was a system glitch and are planning to give us our 10 dollars back. The bedroom given was small and pull out couch was very uncomfortable and springy. Mariott doing what it does best. Rooms: Small

We got a two bedroom suite for my family for not much more $ than a regular hotel room. Room was clean and beds were comfy. We needed a super early start one day, before the breakfast was out, but the coffee was ready and we were able to grab yogurts and muffins, so we were very grateful. Full breakfast was also great with little crustless veggie quiches, plain yogurt and an oatmeal toppings bar in addition you the usual cereal, waffles, sausage, pastries,etc.

Jennifer at the front desk was very helpful. Pets allowed, albeit for $125. No the best RI I've visited, but definitely not the worst, either. I live locally, but I'd stay here again if I were traveling.Rooms: 4/5

Beware!!! Unprofessional business practices and Management does not recognize any accountability to Marriott affiliation or Bonvoy members. In October of 2022, I booked 2 1Bedroom Suites for an upcoming family reunion in June 2023. On 5/17/23, I received an email advising that my reservation had been placed in non-guaranteed status as the they were unable to process my credit card although payment was not actually due until arrival. I was also advised that non-guaranteed reservations would be canceled by 4pm that day and the rooms released back into general inventory. I promptly called the hotel, provided my credit card information and was charged for both rooms at that time problem solved or so I thought. On 5/27/23, I was called by the hotel and advised that they were overbooked by 21 rooms, and was offered to be relocated to a sister property much further away, defeating the purpose of the original stay in the first place. There was no offer for compensation for the inconvenience, despite Marriott's existing policy on these matters. What irks me the most is how a 107 room hotel can become overbooked by 21 rooms, they choose to inconvenience someone who has held a reservation for over 6 months, and they wait until 1 week before the reservation date to drop the bomb.

The studio they provide are basic but functional. Fitness room is decent . The swimming pool as well even though I haven’t noticed any maintenance going on. Breakfast is pretty poor honestly they could improve that a lot to make it better it’s easy to make it better. There is a laundry mat which always helps while traveling and after all prices are reasonable. Courtesy at the reception.

I blocked several rooms at the Manassas location for a wedding. When I stopped by the hotel, the GM Shirley was very nice and helpful. Her follow through was excellent. The staff was friendly and all our guest really enjoyed the hotel. I left gift bags for the guest which the front desk staff graciously passed out. I would definitely recommend this hotel and use them again if needed.

This is an excellent hotel and we really enjoyed our stay. Check-in was smooth and the front desk person was very friendly. The room was clean and well maintained. We had an opportunity to enjoy the pool area which was also clean and had adequate towels. The breakfast had extensive options including breakfast sandwiches and burritos, egg and cheese omelettes, and a variety of other things. I would certainly recommend this location and can easily say that it was one of the best locations we've stayed at.
