Clean bathrooms, not really enough parking area for RVs and semis for as many that come through. Grass hadn't been mowed for a while in the "pet area" when we came through. I didn't want to walk our dog in it and step on something. Plenty of picnic tables and seems safe.
The South rest stop is as clean as the one on the North side. A month ago...Used the rest stop on the North side. The women's bathroom is pretty clean, and it was pretty busy.
Super clean. Lots of parking. They have a dog walk area which was also clean and well maintained. The restrooms were clean and also well maintained. The trash can were clean and not gross. They are definitely doing a good job on this rest area. I really appreciate it.
The bathrooms were adequate but not particularly clean. The outdoor area was clean and had plenty of picnic tables.
Vending machines clean restrooms easy off US81 an easy to get back on in minimal time.
Well maintained rest area. Plenty of room for parking. Yiu can have a picnic if you wanted bring your own food. Landscaping is pleasant.
Clean bathrooms, well kept grounds, stocked vending machines and pet friendly. A lot of parking, easy on and off of I 81 South. Good place to stop and stretch
There were wide parking spots which was a nice surprise since we do have a bigger SUV. There was a handicap accessible ramp and handicapped door buttons. There was a water fountain outside. They have a state police parking spot right up front too and well as handicapped spots. There was a decent pet area to walk your dog or take a walk yourself if you do not have a dog. They had doggie poop bags available. Several picnic tables and grills were available to use. The picnic tables were covered. Several benches available to sit on as well. There was a vending machine building that was open. There were drinks, snacks, and candy available for purchase. Over priced as always at these rest stops. There were two separate women's bathrooms. The one I went into the toilets were clean but there were dead beetles on the floor and flies flying around. There were a few stalls. Maybe 5. The bathroom did not have a bad odor. The toilet paper and hand soap was stocked but the faucet was tricky. It is like it had no water pressure. There were two hand air dryers. Also, there was a baby changing table you could pull down and use. My boyfriend said the men's bathroom was small. There were only 3 stalls. They need more stalls for the men. The toilet paper and hand soap were stocked but the faucet was tricky just like in the women's bathroom. It is like it had no water pressure. There were a lot of flies in it and it wasn't as clean as it should if been. Men's did not have two separate bathrooms like the women did. 3 stars because it is a busy rest stop and it should of had more stalls for the men and it was not as clean as it should of been. Also, the water pressure for the faucets is bad. We did not get to fully wash our hands. Thank goodness for hand sanitizer we travel with.
Nice rest area. Bathrooms were very clean and freshly updated. Landscaping was nice and had plenty of picnic areas. Pet area for the fur babies. Truck parking for us which is a huge plus. The only reason for 4 stars was the pricing on vending machines. The highest I have seen.
Clean and usually feel safe, good lighting for early morning before sunup or after sundown. I always carry pepper spray with me just in case since they are highway rest stops, you never know who you will come in contact with
