first and last time at this place. I ordered the bistek a la Mexicana and I couldn't eat it, it was so spicy, I separated all the jalapeño pepper in the stake and probably were like 10 whole jalapeños pepper, ridiculous. I am still have heartburns from yesterday. the rice was so salty and greasy, the only good part was the small tortillas and the good service from the waitress.
Stopped by to get some chilaquiles and was very disappointed with the food. We asked for huevos tiernos sunny side up and made emphasis that I wanted soft yolks, they gave us over easy with a fully cooked yolk. I sent it back and asked again to please not flip the eggs, and for the yolk to be soft, just sunny side up. They came back with very undercooked runny egg whites. My time was limited so I just accepted them. The portions are huge and the rice was reheated, not freshly done for the day. The refried beans were canned pureed beans, not very appealing. I was really hoping to enjoy this food but it was just flavorless. The burritos are okay though, although not really Mexican food.
Tacos are pretty good, it’s open late at night, they are a little slow to prepare your food so call ahead of time. The red salsa is deadly spicy, I can’t warn you enough about how hot it is. Don’t even approach it with caution, skip it completely and eat the green salsa, thank me later.Recommended dishesCarne Asada Tacos, Al Pastor
The food here is good. But the owners need to show staff to have some manners. I ordered food and asked if they delivered. They said yes. Then they called because I didn't leave tip on card. Im obviously going to tip the gentlemen That delivered my food , why would I tip the girl who picked up the phone? Rude. When the phone got here we were so annoyed with the experience we didn't enjoy it. You guys really ruined the night for the family.
4-4.5 stars , we have been there 3 time getting the Tue-thur special .had the chicken tacos ,burritos and seasoned pork burrito. the burritos are not filled with beans and meat was not fatty ,to some it might be bland but not to us and they have spicy and mild saucestill spicy to me on table. service is good . good quality food for your $. Street parking , ground level accessible. we had issue one order and it was addressed.
Great prices and even better food. The portions here are incredibly generous but most importantly, you can taste the freshness and quality each and every time. I moved around the corner a few months ago and am thrilled to have this place so close as a not just reliable, authentic but exceptional go to taqueria. While they’re open for lunch, they’re also open late to satisfy your craving any time. I have already lost track of how much I have been here and am anticipating my next visit.
Delicios food, clean place, Fast servind and amăgim delicios food, mild and hot salsa, but the mild one is really mild not like other places that have the mild salsa like really hot and the hot one is melting your insides. Great place, defenetly I’ll be back! Take care for all the people they work there!
The food is phenomenal here! I really enjoy the well-seasoned apastor tacos. They have a dry type rub on them not like your overly seasoned generic kind. The tacos are also well stuffed with meat. My family and I go at least once a week. We do not live close to the area or I feel we would frequent more often.Food: 5/5
Great food. Awesome staff. Reasonable prices. I love that they provide salsas in condiment squeeze bottles. They're BYOB and a liquor store is right at the end of the block if that's your sort of thing.Food: 5/5
Love this place. Been going here consistently for many years. Food is amazing and so consistent. Definitely some of the best vegetarian options in the city. The people here are all so incredibly kind and generous, as well. Such a wonderful staple in the neighborhood!
