We specialize in European & Domestic model trains & Military models. Our family has been involved in German railroading since 1904. Our Great Grandfather was an engineer for the Bavarian State Railway. He operated famous steam locomotives like the Gt2x4/4 which later became the BR 96 Class Mallet and S3/6 which became the BR 18. Our grandfather worked for the Deutsche Reichsbahn from 1925 till 1945. After WWII he worked for the Deutsche Bundesbahn from 1945 until 1972 when he retired. Because of our family history and because this is our hobby as well as our business, we can offer our customers expert opinion, knowledge, advice and information for all their European railroad needs. We do not believe any other dealer in the country can make this claim. We pride ourselves on customer service and competitive prices. I just love this store. A person can easily spend a couple of hours looking at and drooling over the amazing products Reynauld's offers. I have a German model railroad layout and it is here that I can and have found everything I need. Beyond the products offered the service is amazing. Rey just knows so much about the products and the hobby in general and he is generous with his time. I brought in three locomotives which Reynaulds converted to digital for me and which work great. This is the BEST model train shop!
Owner is a ***hole. Made us feel unwelcome, watched us the whole time and basically said we couldn't afford anything he had at the store. Then walked up to us and said he was going to close early. Nice way of pushing us out.
Ordered a few times from Reynauld's on-line. Always excellent transactions. Well-packed, fast shipping. Great communication. Suggest confirming availability with them before placing order. Seemingly great people and business. I will continue to be a repeat buyer.
I had a problem with a damaged locomotive. Rey and his staff bent over backwards to help me. The solution to my problem was more than I could have hoped for. Reynauld's is one of the really good ones!
I have been communicating virtually with Rey for several years as I have put in service trains I purchased in Europe 30 years ago. His and his colleagues' advice and service have been outstanding. The breadth and depth of his inventory and the prompt attention to web placed orders have allowed me to progress with my projects with minimal delay. The store is a tremendous asset for all of us with European equipment.
A great little shop! The staff at Reynaulds is very knowledgeable and they always go out of their way to help me find what I need. It really feels like I walked into a family member's house and not a shop. Sometimes I just drop in to have a conversation about new products and so my kids can see some of their cool layouts. They love "the train store"! Overall, good in-store selection, competitive prices and a great knowledge base.

Very great place. It is a bit of a drive from where i am, but its worth the drive. I hope i could go there again sometime soon, my family just moved to a bigger place, so i am hoping i can build a bigger layout. Last time i bought the PIKO ICE3. They have a lot of things from a variety of brands. Excellent service as always. Whenever I have questions, they always have advice and recommendations. Fast and easy checkout with my father. I have been Reynaulds's customer for over 20 years. They are my main supplier of European N scale models. I also service model trains mine and fellow NTRAK club members, and Reynauld's has also been my main source of spare parts. Back in early 2000s obtaining parts from European manufacturer was a real hassle, but Reynauld's staff was always very accommodating when I needed spare parts. With their connections with European manufacturers, they were able to get me the parts I needed. With the number of models I have purchased over the years, sometimes a problem would show up. The problems were mostly not Reynauld's fault - usually factory defects. Not to fear though - friendly Reynauld's staff thanks Rey! would always make things right. Reynault's is my top go-to dealer of European models. The only thing I can think of that keeps Reynauld's from being the perfect online vendor is the lack of real-time inventory on their website. But I understand that it would take quite a lot to accomplish that, and it does not stop me from coming back to them time and time again. I highly recommend Reynauld's to anyone looking for European prototype model trains. You will not be disappointed.
I have started to collect Era V and Era VI HO passenger locomotives and rolling stock after making several recent trips to Europe I have collected HO American trains for many years. It is wonderful to have found Reynauld's. Great on-line service. E-mails informing me of the shipment of backorders is greatly appreciated, as well as prompt replies to my e-mails when I have questions. Thank you and look forward to more purchases in the future.
