The lady that runs this place is very rude and prejudice I've applied 2 times with second time making more income than the first. You see more Spanish people living there than any other race.
I don’t think it’s all that bad, haven’t personally lived there myself but several people I know have and definitely most affordable close to Bastrop,I’ve went on walked in there and saw a few friendly people and kids playing safely there’s a corner store A dollar general and a restaurant near by Definitely looking into renting a home to raise my kid in here!
Haven't even lived there yet, but I see two homes on bosque street being renovated. I called on Nov 1st and she answered rudely telling me to fill out the app online. I asked if she can show me the homes today, she told me to go look at them myself. I did and we liked them. I didn't fill out $35 app because she hasn't answered the phone or unlocked the office door since. I guess it's not meant to be. Wish there was other options in Bastrop. I give the front office lady/manager whatever the hell she is zero stars.
It is a great place where my brother lives. I know if anything was to go wrong and he needed help that the staff would help him. It's quiet and great country views. I would recommend this for anyone but especially if it was a long-term stay and somewhere you wanted to call home.
The place looks very unsettling when you drive by and seems to be very unorganized with alot of trash. There is only so much I'm sure that can be done, but there is a need for more effort in cleaning up mess from residents renting to own and owners to keep up with the place them and their children live and play daily.
The first month was great. Down hill from there. From the smelly rendering plant, sheriffs office stalking the neighborhood, tow trucks towing bc there isn't much parking, and the new office staff being rude to all the residents, this place isn't worth the trouble. The neighbors are awesome, if only management actually cared about their community and the people in it. Get EVERYTHING in writing bc becky will tell you one price and then Barry tells you another. Unethical
Well it's not exactly the most reputable of crowds that love here, but they are good people. I wouldn't feel unsafe here. Seems to stay clean, and nothing blocks the road allowing traffic to follow through.
Beware of the heavy police presence and tow truck drivers that stalk this neighborhood. There is also a horrific smell that permeates the neighborhood from an animal rendering plant that is a mile or so away. Management isnt very responsive and they take advantage of lower income or illegal immigrants here. The office staff is the go between and Becky is often left to do management's dirty work. READ YOUR CONTRACT BEFORE YOU SIGN!! Management has been known to change the price of the home after you apply and charge an extra deposit just because.
Lived there for only 9 months and was the worse management ever. Lack of communication and falsifying paper work. Then took me moving out to fix what was wrong from my initial walk threw. The manager Joe then also would illegally put 3 day evictions on many tenets door that he didn't agree with. I would not recommend this place to any one unless you have a lawyer to look over your lease agreement first and keep a copy. Also they pride them self on being drug free and not one but two different home are know to deal there and the manager Joe will show you them because one of them is the maintenance man that's suppose to fix the homes. An last but not least the managers have take fire victims money then evicted them. But lost the eviction in court.
I like it here, the staff Becky is willing to help with whatever i need, i think this place has gotten really nice . Thanks for being so nice..and far as the Sheriff's office its nice to have them potrolling. Thanks Bastrop Sheriff's Dept.
