Thank you for your interest in Rivergate Psychiatric and Behavioral Health Center. There are two Psychiatrists available at our clinic. Dr. Adetunji will see patients on Monday and Wednesdays in the evening and Dr. Saha will see patients on Tuesday and Thursday in the day and evening by appointment only.

WE DO NOT ACCEPT WALK-IN APPOINTMENTS!

NOTICE: We do NOT treat ADD and ADHD at this office.

Looking to be a new patient? Give us a call to fill out a new patient application over the phone today! Currently, our new patient evaluations are booked roughly one month out from the current date.

At this time, we do NOT accept the following insurance:

Do not use this office for any type of help. HIPPA was violated when, while in a crisis situation, a family member was called to "handle the situation". I was left in a hospital, upon the doctor's recommendation, only to discover they did not have the capability for a psychological emergency. I was left in a room, broken TV, no doctor, nothing but a bed and a gown. After everything - I was still charged for an appointment where nothing has been accomplished. As a disabled veteran, there is no hope of treatment here.
I’ve been seeing Dr Felix Adetunji for several years and I was shocked at what a couple of people wrote about him in these reviews. Dr Felix is the kindest, most professional doctor I’ve seen in all my 69 years. He definitely does care about his patients. He asks questions, listens attentively, shows concern and offers advice to help as well as giving prescriptions if needed. And if he refused to give a patient medicine, I’m sure he had a good and legitimate reason that he thought was in the best interest of the patient. Don’t let a couple of bad comments scare you off. Dr Felix is a wonderful doctor!
My experience has always been pleasant. Dr. Adetunji genuinely cares about his patients. He is always willing to listen and is encouraging about my progress. The front office staff are friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a qualified and dedicated group of mental health professionals.
If you want a doctor that actually cares about you as a person, see anyone on earth other than Dr. Adetunji. Even when I did get appointments with that guy, I was never given time to address any concerns regarding my medication — he was always too eager just to end the call. It’s a shame that someone as careless as him is in charge of writing prescriptions that may make or break the mental health of the individual.
My experience with Rivergate Psychiatric was very helpful. My new doctor there help my overcome what I was dealing with and move forward. The office has a down to earth feel to it which put my mind at ease. I really love that the office clerk took the time to help me with my questions. She was great!! Very polite!! I would highly recommend this office to anyone I come across dealing with mental health issues or seeking help. Thank you once again to the team at Rivergate Psychiatric.
Ive been to a few psychiatrists due to moving, and Dr. saha is probably the worst. He does not listen to women in general, cuts you off in the middle of trying to explain your issues. My FIRST VISIT i was only in there for 20 minutes and he prescribed me antipsychotic medication which i have never in my life been diagnosed with psychosis or bipolar disorder. Hence why the medicine made me sick. He refused to listen to me and told me i was wrong. It is extremely irresponsible to see a patient one time for 20 minutes and immediately make an assumption on their condition and prescribe potentially dangerous medication.
I never got past the receptionist. I was making an inquiry, not necessarily to make an appointment, wanting to make sure there would be counseling and not just a prescription. She said "the psychologist is booked up as nd writing prescriptions is what the psychiatrists do." I was shocked. I know they have to be psychiatrist to be able to write prescriptions, but really? Not helpful at all, so I reasoned that neither were the doctors there.
I was referred to Dr. Saha after my long-term, trusted psychiatrist moved out of state. My experience with Dr. Saha has been the worst!! Another reviewer wrote, “He does not listen to women in general, cuts you off in the middle of trying to explain your issues.” and that “he refused to listen to me and told me I was wrong.” Exactly the same with me!! I have never had a manic symptom during my 25-year struggle with depression and I repeatedly told him that, but he kept saying I had undiagnosed bipolar depression. He went so far to say that he is usually not wrong. Arrogantly, he said it was possible, but not likely. So ten days later I am worse off than I was before I went to see him.
I have a 16 child that needed to see a psychiatrist for medication. Had me do online forms and wait until I messaged them to try to get her in. Get a call with a voicemail saying they won't see her because she isn't 18 years old. Several weeks and now they won't see her. Not very professional at all.
Doctor Adetunji is amazing. Truly cares for his patients and it shows. I wasn’t that impressed with the front desk receptionist but they weren’t rude or anything. Just not very helpful. Overall still a great place.
