Description

As an 89-bed full-service hospital, we provide a comprehensive range of medical services and high quality care. We are a forward thinking, innovative hospital where trust, teamwork and technology come together to make a positive difference in the health of our community and region. Our Joint Commission accreditation powerfully demonstrates our commitment to meet the highest national standards for quality and safety.

But our most important mission here is to serve you and your family. So we combine the medical and technological resources of a regional center for healthcare with the warm, friendly and personal touch of a caring, compassionate staff.

Mission

At RMC Jacksonville our goal is to deliver the best healthcare available in the Jacksonville and surrounding areas, as we seek to exceed the expectations of all those we serve. We are realizing that goal by making RMC Jacksonville a place where employees want to work, patients want to go and physicians want to practice. It is not coincidental our objectives begins with our employees. We are blessed to have an incredible workforce and we strive to create and maintain an awesome workplace. This past year, RMC Jacksonville was named by Modern Health Care magazine as one of the 100 Best Places To Work In Health Care. In fact, our hospital employee satisfaction ranks in the 98th percentile nationally among 3900 hospitals. With the help of dedicated employees along with our physicians, volunteers and Board members, we have created a unique patient experience. Our patient satisfaction is the highest among all hospitals in Calhoun and Etowah counties. Along with our community’s continued support and encouragement, we continue our passionate pursuit of excellence. We have focused on bringing more healthcare services to our community to eliminate costly travel expenses. These efforts include the recruitment of specialists and the establishment of satellite specialty clinics on our campus and in neighboring communities. While delivering quality healthcare is the single most important contribution we make, it is evident our efforts are making a positive impact on the communities we serve. In January of 2012, RMC Jacksonville partnered with the city of Jacksonville, our primary care physicians, Jacksonville City Schools and Jacksonville State University to form Alabama Healthy Communities. Alabama Healthy Community is a not-for-profit organization that is working with local healthcare providers, community leaders, educators and businesses to coordinate patient care, promoting active living and to achieve healthier lifestyles.

Sound of Freedom was an excellent show to see. Comfortable seating clean and I like the showtime of 1:30. Last week I brought my granddaughter to see The Barbie Movie. Part way through she got upset and wanted to leave. She said it was to nasty to watch. We only seen 1/2 an hour if that. I really thought it would be more oriented towards young girls. For Barbie I give it 1
Our first time here. Seats are very comfortable and atmosphere is great. However, when you walk in there is nobody to assist with ticket purchase. After wandering around lobby for a bit, we went to the theater our movie was playing and tried to see if we're to pay online. I couldn't find purchase a ticket on the website. The theater was about 25% full so i figured i would find help after to pay. After our movie was finished, I approached a staff person to tell them we saw the movie & didn't know where to pay. He was extremely rude and said "you didn't see the line of people?" I then said, the only people I saw were the ones getting food and there were a ton of them. He yelled at me, "That is where you pay!" I then said, that "I have never been here before and that I saw people purchasing candy, soda, and other food. Never did it enter my mind to get into the food line to pay for ticket. Maybe a sign to tell people that have never been here before would be helpful." He rolled he eyes and took my credit card to pay. After i told my husband how I was treated, my husband approached the short squirty looking man and told him that you were rude to my wife & she was just trying to be honest. The man on staff I surely hope he wasn't any sort of management apologized to my husband. The staff are not pleasant at all!
Love the matinees. Wish they had them all the time, not just for summer. Would go to the theater more often. Staff is friendly and helpful. Theaters are all clean and comfortable!
Good price. Good food selection. Getting screamed by an attendant mid Barbie movie to change seats, very disappointing. Not going back. I’ll support the other theatre. At least we won’t get screamed at.
This theatre is amazing! Im a visitor from a Chicago suburb and I frequently go to AMC. Your theatre has so many features that I wish AMC had! I love the decor and design of the lobby, hallways, concessions and restrooms! The theatre seats are amazingly comfortable! Only downfall is you can’t recline but I didn’t mind one bit. I highly recommend this theatre!
Purchased tickets in advance and I guess we didn't know when arriving we would have to get in same long line as all of the individuals still purchasing tickets AND food and drinks. No individual check in or ticket purchase line and many of us who already purchased tickets realized there wasn't much point of it unless it sold out but being we had other choices of movies to watch that part wouldn't have mattered but we ended up getting in to the movie 10 min late due to 2 long lines of people order food mostly then tickets. We asked this to the person who took order and he didn't care at all when we were already 5 min and standing in line not even sure if we were in right line:. Definitely don't order Tix in Jacksonville til they get this right UNLESS it's because of selling out only. Not to make it easier on yourself because it doesn't at all! 2nd star is only for.the cleanliness, comfort and the movie itself on the screen. Not for the person behind us with their shoes off stinking up the place. Nor the rest mentioned above. :. Also star because it's not always been this way
We love this one for the luxury theaters with the super comfy seats. Only 2 of the 8 or 9 screens have them so only the top 2 billed movies at any given time are in them. Other than that it's small but nice enough. It's an RMC so it delivers as expected even down to the cost of popcorn combo deals.
A great movie theater. It was clean, comfortable, and nice staff. Was passing through town and it was a good stop one evening.
I've had opposing experiences here. First time was great, second was mediocre. The seats are comfortable enough but the sound was questionable through both experiences I shouldn't have to ask my wife what the actors are saying Concessions are top notch!
Totally redone since our last visit. Huge, comfy recliners, nice spacing and sound quality spot on. As always prices for snacks are high but popcorn was fresh and buttery. Workers were pleasant!
