I had an great experience great as possible based on circumstances with Robert Bryant Funeral Home. The owner was attentive, caring and thoughtful during the process. He answered all my questions and I called repeatedly, and gave my the best advice on how to handle my fathers passing. The funeral home itself was quiet, and had a compassionate feel upon our arrival. My sister and I dealt directly with the owner, and were extremely satisfied with his advice, concern, and patience with us through such a trying time. The location is close to our home, and although our father passed in Citrus County, Mr. Bryant offered to go directly to our dad himself, and make sure he was treated with the respect and honor he deserved as our dad, a veteran and a long time Central Florida business owner. Thank you Mr. Bryant for being there for us. We appreciate all you did.
This place is trash. All the negative reviews are true!!! The most insensitive, untrustworthy, greedy crypt keepers. Trell the owner puts on his used car salesman persona at the beginning but his true sleazy qualities eventually reveal themselves. Including him cynically laughing at me when I told him his services were not worth the price. He also employs family members, Mariella and Edwin - who are skeemers as well. Mariella is great at lying. She and her son somehow had documents related to our loved one’s passing at their home! And it was unavailable to trell when he had to answer questions. We paid extra to have the remains sent to CO from FL. Please see the photo below as to the presentation our loved one was sent to us in. This is pathetic! And so insensitive. I can see by the shipping label Robert Bryant Funeral home made $127 off of shipping ashes and couldn’t even include a sympathetic card, or tissue paper. We got dusty crumpled up paper. Also worth mentioning, we drove to FL immediately following the news of the tragic sudden passing of our loved ones. We were supposed to have a meeting Monday May 15th at 9:30 am to see the body. That was taken away from us by Mariella and her skeeming. We were told her body was elsewhere and a viewing was not possible. Yesterday when I spoke with Trell he tried saying they would never deprive a family of that. Well they did. Further research into the agency that regulates the funeral and cremation industry in FL has revealed Trell is not a licensed funeral home director. And please note- the person commenting on behalf of the business quickly dismisses negative reviews as “erroneous” and uses “bless you” which we all know what that means. Update: a funeral home employee responded to this review by publishing my name, address, and phone. That reply was taken down by Google. I can presume the author of the reply had ill will when posting my personal information as retaliation for a this negative review.
The staff at Robert Bryant Funeral Home were so compassionate and helpful. They went above and beyond our expectations to make our loved ones funeral go as smoothly as possible. Funerals are extremely difficult to prepare for, but they made it as less stressful as anyone could, during such a sad and difficult time. My family and I can not even put into words the sincerest heartfelt gratitude we have for you all. Thank you
They didn’t want to give my mother information about my sister service she payed them the money told we had to take it up with family they are so inconsiderate and only care about money the owner told my mother there was going to be a family meeting to get last belongings there was not a meeting every time we called to get information they would called the other side of the family and made of report that we called
My brother died on 7-2-22. I called this place at 4:45pm to obtain information on cremation services. The woman who answered the phone didn't even offer condolences when I shared that my brother just died. I asked about availability on Wed and her response was "nope". Call me crazy but I thought people who work in this industry are expected to demonstrate compassion and excellent customer service. Needless to say, we won't be patronizing this company.
The services of a funeral home or cremation service is not something any of us look forward to needing. When we do, it's often in a time of grief and high emotional and mental stress. If the time comes, when you find yourself having to make last arrangements for someone you love, I can only give Trell Bryant and the Robert Bryant Funeral & Cremation Chapel my highest recommendations. Over the last few years, he and his staff have been highly supportive with services for my neighbors and two of my friends.
The men who picked up my friend were the BEST part of the experience. They did care, it was obvious. Enter Mariela, well, she's ALL about the money. I called to request the ashes 3 weeks later and was admonished for bothering her, as she's busy. Just Wow. She made me come back today instead, required an appointment for a completely empty facility. for what took all of 5 minutes. I received his ashes, let's just say it was basically a baggie stuck in a small fake black velvet bag. Frankly, I have received pet remains that were packaged in a visually pleasing packaging and delivered with true compassion, unlike this HUMAN crematorium. Also, the family and myself took photos of the damage that was caused moving my loved one. Mariela tried to say it was pre-existing. I have proof otherwise. Whatever, just glad to be done with this company. She basically called me a liar, during the worst time of my life. I cannot, in good conscience, recommend this company. There are others that are more caring and affordable. Also, this is a photo of how his remains were returned to me. I have dealt with pet cremations with a better presentation.
Mariela made this process so much easier. She went the extra mile with everything, and helped walk me and my 3 siblings through everything. She is extremely knowledgeable and compassionate. We can't thank her enough for her patience and support during this difficult time. I would recommend this place to anyone.
They are rude the owner is very unprofessional and doesn’t have no remorse for the family. Only care about money and not the client
Excellent service since the very first phone call I made to them. They were very helpful throughout the entire process, and they did an excellent job with my father he looked great. I would recommend this funeral home to everyone.
