Very friendly congregation! They teach God's word, the Bible, which includes the law that show us that all of us are unworthy. God the Father gave us undeserved grace through his son Jesus Christ. I stayed after worship for Bible study. Many members had so many comments with a deep knowledge of various religions. So many good points were brought up. Several members were interested in me and spent the day with me which I welcomed and thought was super cool.

We find the web site to have been an excellent resource for Christ-centered instruction and encouragement. Really enjoy the close personal delivery of the Sunday sermon. One can feel like we are in a close personal encounter. God's Word and His loving forgiveness come through clearly. JESUS SAVES

Rock of Ages Lutheran Church in Payson is filled with loving members that love Jesus! Pastor Barthel preaches the true word of God right out of the Bible. When I am there I feel uplifted by the Holy Spirit and feel Jesus fill my heart with peace.

Visiting from out of town and attended Christmas eve service.  I have to say that I was sick to my stomach after this service.  It's Christmas and the pastor spoke about "darkness" in the world. How awful to sit there wanting so badly to rejoice in the birth of Jesus our King and to listen to such doom and gloom. I literally cried for this church. I sincerely hope that the Holy Spirit moves this church in the right direction.

Excellent biblical teaching.  Unwavering focus on Christ and His work for us.

What a neat complete Church!
