The visit was good. Plants are a little more expensive than last Spring. If I had planted my bulbs like I was suppose to, then I wouldn't have had to buy any plants. Yet, some of the marked prices were discounted at the checkout. Ex. my $4.99 selections were actually $4.49 & $4.29. I like to stick to perennials, if possible & check for two plants or a plant with an off shoot in one pot. If you haven't gotten all of Spring & summer plantings as of yet, then check Rural King out & get you some popcorn too. Hopefully, I will get these in the ground soon.
Rural king is a great store for household goods, hardware, and even clothing. The people are friendly and their prices are some of the most reasonable I’ve seen. I will definitely continue shopping at Rural King as a top choice store.
Most of the the things I like are in stock occasionally not. The bathrooms usually need attention. They have some very good deals on stuff other places don't have, like jeans for about 10 bucks, and 4 foot 6000 lumen work shop lights for 20 bucks. It's a good place people are friendly there and you get free popcorn. Just wish the bathroom was cleaned more often and the way to dry your hands was better it sucks. But overall it's a pretty good place. I've bought several things here and had to bring back one of them no hassle. That's nice in today's world.
There is so much good I could say about this store and I haven't even seen the whole thing yet. Some of my favorite things are their selection of hard working man boots, high quality!, great big bag of fresh popcorn for about $2.50,and humorous tee-shirts. But there is so much more!
Has everything under the sun from feed, equipment and even a good selection of bagged candy for the humans with a sweet tooth. Staff is very helpful, friendly and courteous. Plenty of cashiers to get you through check out very quickly. Prices are good. Plus you get a free serve yourself bag of fresh popcorn!
I enjoy going to Rural King they have variety of everything. I needed a battery for my car and it was in stock. The price was reasonable. The staff was awesome. This is the place to shop at..
Friendly staff. Went and picked up some milorganite, seed potatoes, and onion bulbs a few years back. Everything was reasonably priced. Recently went back with my son to checkout the chickens.
My favorite store! Best prices on work wear and everyday clothing. Free popcorn too! Love their selection of affordable and health dog food as well as their amazing deals on treats and toys.
I agree with other reviews that state the store is experiencing a downward spiral. Even to the point that the person handling the Google account is responding to negative reviews like they are 5 star glowing reviews. The owner of this store needs to step in and save his or her business before it gets worse! My last visit to this store was a pick up order. It was disorganized, the employees in-compassionate, and no one came out to load my order into my car, I was told to pull to the side of the building to have my hay loaded for me due to liability issues. After waiting at the hay semi, I called the store to see if I could load it myself since I was running late somewhere, I was told "no, someone has to load it for you." No one ever came out. With two babies in the car, I just left. Overall the "pick up" process for one item took almost 30 minutes. I do pick up orders at Kroger for 50+ products, and those pickups take about 4 minutes.
I love the place! The animal sections are great! The workers are very helpful too. Alot of clothes as well. Sizes to fit all. And the freedom to bring a dog too! I'm from NY.. it ïs a comfortable store, unlike NY.
