Rushing River cascades over rock gouged by glaciers in a series of rapids but elsewhere it is passable by canoe. It is the Gateway to Eagle-Dogtooth Provincial Park’s five canoe routes and is part of the water trail Path of the Paddle, extending from Manitoba to Thunder Bay.
Rushing River is great place to come for a day or spend a couple nights. It is a favourite family camping destination offering beaches, playgrounds, interpretive programs, hiking trails and endless opportunities for exploring. We are even open during the winter, offering 16 km of groomed cross-country ski trails.
Only a 2.5 hour drive from Winnipeg and a half hour from Kenora, come check us out!
