I have a reletive who recently passed at Sacred Heart in Spokane and i can't begin to express how very grateful i am to EVERYONE! From lost n found, the operator, nursing to every other employee not mentioned above.....I THANK YOU and will likely never forget how you guys went out of your way to include me from several states away at that! TOP NOTCH HOSPITAL!! FIVE
Extremely lack professionalism. The doctor had half her head shaved. It just didn't give a comforting feeling with how she looked and we are supposed to leave trusting this doctor. Nurse Hannah was Extremely rude. She even went in to the bathroom to ask my wife all her symptoms while my wife was having contractions. At one point the nurse made the comment that my wife was normal however we will still have the doctor come in and evaluate.
The NICU is incredible. I love their staff. They helped with my son and he was there 11 days. My births were memorable. The first one didn’t go as smooth as I thought but the 2nd one was amazing. They lady that did my spinal was incredible!! She made me feel comfortable as I was incredibly nervous to have a repeat of my epidural issues. She got it the first time. I wish I remembered her name. Thank you so much for the incredible love, compassion i recieved at the women’s birth center.
Zero stars!! This used to be my hometown hero hospital. Today I had chest pain. I pulled up to the ER and was told I had to park and walk a distance I didn't think I could do. She said, we don't have any other options. The line was 10 people deep to get in the door. I needed a wheelchair but was told they'd run out. I left after 30 minutes of standing in line and went to Kootenai in Coeur d'Alene where I was seen immediately.
I want to share my experience regarding food allergies at this hospital, particularly for those with serious allergies or intolerances. While the staff here has been very kind, I strongly advise being cautious when it comes to the meals provided under their supervision. During my girlfriend's two stays of over three days each, we encountered repeated difficulties in conveying her dairy allergy and pork intolerance to the appropriate personnel. It has been frustrating to find that every meal over the past three days has included something she cannot consume, primarily dairy. Having grown up with a brother who has life-threatening milk and peanut allergies, I am well-versed in managing such situations. It is disheartening to realize that, as a hospital, this continues to be an ongoing issue. I must acknowledge the nurses and kitchen staff who have been consistently polite and apologetic throughout this ordeal. However, there seems to be a breakdown in communication, with each party shifting blame for not updating the patient's file or disregarding the dietary restrictions. I share this feedback in the hope that improvements can be made, ensuring that patients with food allergies receive the appropriate meals without compromising their health and well-being. Thank you
Went to see my newborn niece after a grave and a 2 hour drive to be told to wait 2 hours. Than proceeded to wait up to half the day and yet to see my newborn niece saying one person at a time when there were at least 4 in the room. Thanks for wasting my day and front desk staff of the place straight rude with no professional or care for others.
My little one was having trouble breathing, I brought him in to be seen and from the moment I got walked in the door I felt welcomed and well taken care of. The admitting nurse even held my little guys hand and helped him feel comfortable while walking to the room. The RN was very sweet and met all of our needs and answered questions and concerns with ease. The doctor explained everything that was diagnosed with easy to understand treatment and explanation. I was beyond impressed with the entire visit since no one wants to make a visit to the especially with a sick child this visit made it feel a lot less stressful and overwhelming. Thank you sacred heart care team you are amazing!
Had surgery, stayed Monday and went home Thursday. Bed was not changed. Pillow case had a yellow stain. Room/Bathroom was not completely cleaned. Had to request Toilet Paper. Food was Good and Nurses were Nice. The Bed has a Charging Port to Recharge Cell Phone but the bed was noisy Going Up/Down.
My daughter just turned 14 and all the years of care have exceeded expectations. Dr. Jensen is an amazing doctor.
We just spent a week in the NICU with our newborn son. It was the most gut wrenching experience of our lives but the nurses in the NICU along with all of the hospital staff were 100% Top Notch and the most caring and loving people we have ever met in a hospital. Sacred Heart made this emotionally difficult time so much easier to bear and we wouldn’t have known what to do without them all. Forever in the debt of those who served our son with their best care possible. These ladies deserve a CEO’s pay! Best ever
