With one of the highest return to home rates, the rehabilitation department believes in a fun, productive environment where patients enjoy working hard to get home. Offering Physical Therapy, Occupation Therapy and Speech therapy, each discipline focuses on their integral part of wellness to promote recovery. Areas of specialty include Neurological/ Neuromuscular rehabilitation, post-operative rehabilitation, balance and gait training, fall prevention, orthotics, home modification assessments, development of home exercise programs, electrical stimulation/ Ultrasound, cognitive development and swallow dysfunction. Their illustration of client focused treatments creates a tailored approach to rehab in order to return patients to their prior living environment as quickly as possible.
As an active part of the Cedar Park community, it is important for our residents to be involved in activities that they enjoy. Activities offered in the facility include exercise, musical activities, weekly outings to local restaurants and shopping centers, dominoes, bingo and church services. Sagebrook also has a beauty shop with a licensed beautician along with manicure and pedicure specialists, so residents can look and feel their best.
