I’m a hard stick with the IV, and the nurse got it done no problem on the first try!! Everyone was so nice and kind to me though I was in pain, the only person who I felt was short with me was the actual doctor. Before you read how I felt, this was still one of the best ER experiences I ever had. I just feel like people in physical pain, should be handled with care if they’re not sporadically aggressive. I was gaslighted twice by her about where my pain was located though I have multiple witnesses that can confirm my story never changed even with my pains touching a 10. It’s hard to think under that much pain This on top of her attitude made my diagnosis harder to take.I was also upset because it’s part of something pre-existing that I’ve been battling so I was brought to even more tears But I’m glad we came to resolution to a degree. I was given medication that really helped and she even recommended a book to help with my future health issues. I understand ER staff are typically stressed due to being short-staffed and having to run all over the place, but for me to feel comfortable UNTIL I speak with the doctor… makes me sad that it happened given how much physical pain I was in. So maybe if you’re elderly, bring someone with you to make sure you’re being treated properly. Medically and as a person.
They had one of the two entrances chained off to stop people from using it to bypass a traffic light. Then Waited 30 minutes in an empty waiting room. Left for a different ER. Thanks for nothing ssm. You only care about the money not the patient.
I wouldn't take my dog to any of the saint Anthony hospitals in OKC are surrounding areas there drs must be from the group that dropped out of school and the nurses are just about as bad
Went to see them on the weekend. My daughter had a fever, they tested her for strep, Flu and Covid-19. Today the finally called with the results. She has been fighting a fever till Monday, early Tuesday morning. They called today Wednesday afternoon saying she has strep throat A type. Then I go to the pharmacy and they prescribed her amoxicillin tab pills. She is 5 years old. Then it took me 55 minutes to get them to change the prescription to the liquid for children. They treated me like I wasted their time in the emergency room. And this just shows how all they do is judge those in need. I will never step foot in this hospital ever again.
How refreshing! Service with smiles and genuine concern for a persons comfort and wellness. I waited maybe 2 minutes to check in excellent, then another short wait and a nurse came for me. Then immediately very thorough questions, a very good nurse, After that the Dr appeared almost right away. The Dr was also very good. Thank You for healthcare and a return to life with normalcy
My daughter and I are both patients at St.Anthony’s in Yukon so it’s a one stop shop for us! Dr. Daniels is a wonderful Pediatrician and is on top of referrals and responds through the app so quick and always gets an answer to our questions! Dr. Pratt is my PCP on the same floor and she is also excellent! Even the ER there is excellent. Seriously, can’t say enough about the staff there :
Came in couple times for bloodwork, my dermatologist said this was a 24/7 lab so i could get it done after work. I work during the day and evenings and dont get off till 11pm. The lady the first time yelled at me for coming in so late. The second time i came in was the same lady but she complained the entire time on how late it was and that she didn’t remember how to do blood work. If i knew more 24/7 labs i could go to a different location
We offered my Best Friend my support, and met her at the Emergency Room. The Security Guard was helpful, and very nice. However, after we met her in the room we were shocked at the quality of care she received. There is no way we will ever recommend this place to anyone. She went to the emergency room because she was in a lot of pain over the weekend. The staff was more focused on getting insurance information, and advising that she had a $500.00 ER Co-Pay. However her bill will be considerably more than that as you can imagine just for being there. They gave her a visual inspection with no diagnostics, and sent her home with a prescription for pain pills, and muscle relaxers which she isn't sure that she needs. The Doctor spent less than 5 minutes with her. The nurse said they didn't have a MRI, and what they do there typically is treat the symptoms, and send patient to regular Doctor. They also said it's better to come there if there is a life threatening situation? This makes me really wonder what this hospital would be able to do in an emergency situation. I'd be terrified to go there under those circumstances. For a visual inspection , and medications it does not warrant the $500 Co-Pay plus the additional charges she will be billed for because she went to the ER. Now she will have to incur another bill just to see her Doctor.
The staff/registration department is completely incompetent. We’ve been here four times for services and every single time they don’t upload our insurance information properly. If they can’t even scan a card correctly why would you trust them with your quality of care/life?
Very attentive staff! I have been here a few times with some emergencies over the last five years. One time resulting in surgery and the staff has always been very helpful! The doctor has always done a very thorough examination and the nurses have always been right on time with medications. As a hospital administrator and nurse myself for an entirely different hospital I would say that the service provided here is outstanding. Also, wait times are very short, 5 minutes being the longest I've ever had to wait.
