Today I was in the ER for an emergency. Melissa and Amanda were my nurses and they were great! After discharge I went to the cafeteria. When I went to pay I couldn't find my wallet with my money and credit cards. I panicked! The cashier, Arianna, was so sweet and helpful. She made sure I was taken care of and helped me get back to the ER to resolve my problem. My wallet had been secured by my friend. Everyone I came in contact with was incredible.
My daughter n I kept called n kept getting hung up on by an operator named Travis on August 31 2023. The time was 1:30 ish. We could only say one word n he hung up. Other than that the staff is great
Had a very good experience with my heart procedure with MI Heart due to the caring staff and nurses. They were kind and compassionate. Thank you.
Extremely rude front desk staff in the emergency room. and what makes it worse is the nurse lady name Tara she is unprofessional whatsoever.
I was treated like human garbage last time I went to the ER there. The doctor acted as if I was faking. After basically being untreated, I went to uofm hospital ER, where a professional, well trained doctor had the wherewithal to x-ray my back. They discovered I had 3 herniated disks. Shame on st Joseph hospital doctors.
Let me start of by describing this horrible unsanitary place! I got a bed which was placed in their hallway where there was no side table to place my belongings or a hook to hang my coat. The bathroom floors were wet and sticky. Mrs. Amy Timmins was the PA trying to resolve my health challenges. She came up with conclusion I have nothing and need to see a PT for back pain, please make a note I have abdominal pain. They did blood test, and CT scan to figure out what’s happening instead of urine test. She wasn’t even ready to order an urine test for me cause I did it in the lab day before at my PC. In my labs doctor could clearly see I had WBC and leukocytes which clearly indicates infection. Also, she prescribed lidocaine 5% for the pain which was costing $190 and I needed permission from my PC to get it approved. Also, I ended up paying $250 as copay and wasted my time and energy with this good for nothing facility and their so called uneducated PA. Don’t waste your time and energy in this place. I visited my gynecologist and found out I have an UTI. Very unprofessional PA and gross facility!
December 12, 2022 Director of Nursing Services Saint Joseph Mercy Hospital 5301 McAuley Drive Ypsilanti, Michigan 48197 We are writing to commend the services of Saint Joseph’s nursing and medical staff members for the amazing care they provided for Pam during her recent stay. Pam was transported to the St. Joseph ER by the Canton EMT Ambulance crew and taken immediately into your care. We know that there were dozens of professionals to who looked after Pam, but we wish to commend two of your nurses by name for their special care. Stephanie was Pam’s nurse in the ER rom 41 on the afternoon / evening of December 7th, and we have no doubt that her efforts saved Pam’s life by working to get her very severe sepsis infection under control and her vital signs stabilized. After being moved to medical room on the 9th Floor East room 919, Channel was the primary nurse who cared for Pam on December 8th and 9th and she exemplifies everything a nurse should be. Her caring manner combined with excellent nursing skills aided in Pam’s recovery and ability to return home. Channel made Pam feel very comfortable and became a friend. We both hugged her as we left the hospital. We’d welcome her into our home, any time. From both of us, we express our grateful thanks and wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year in 2023. Caring and knowledgeable doctors, nurses, and pharmacy staff. Beautiful facility and great food options in the cafe. Excellent hospital for my daughter, father, and myself!
