Was very pleased with all the staff and anna . They were caring and compassionate to my friend . Going to the ER is not a very pleasant experience by any means. But they made it the best possible experience to him . God Bless each and everyone of them . heroes are working here .

Had to have a robotic hysterectomy…not fun but the team of nurses and doctors were fantastic.From pre op to post I had 4 different exceptional nurses.When I woke up I was in horrible pain and bless the nurse that kept literally running to help me and my last nurse Meredith  also my CRNA was amazing noticed I had eyelash extensions and made sure to not rip them off. And my CNA Chad  !!! I was seriously impressed at how caring everyone was …. Would definitely recommend getting your organs removed from here

I had to have a Cervical Anterior Disc Fusion Surgery. Scary thought, too! My Dr. Timothy Scheottle & the Nurses were all amazing. Made me feel at home. They took care of me...really. They came to check on me what seemed like every 15 minutes. The hospital was super clean, along with all the rooms I looked in on the way to my own. They all looked liked large suites. But this review doesn't put into words how the entire staff works as a team and clearly explains everything. I actually had a wonderful time. Not once did i feel  uncomfortable after arriving, had my surgery, staying overnight, and left. They even called me to follow up. The food was better than most of these restaurants located in the area...hence, the photos of the food & trays.Flat screen T.V., A/C was set right, bed was comfortable and adjustable, phone in the rooms, Internet Access, couch & chairs to accommodate your loved ones. Showers with bath tub. Huge windows to see the view. Yes...This is definitely a 5 star hotel! Truthfully...I really didn't want to leave. Ps...the meds did have me super talkative.

I broke my leg 2.5 hours in to the night and arrived by ambulance to this hospital. From the greeting by medical staff to the discharge upon exiting, everyone here exceeded expectations! I was made to feel comfortable from the moment I was wheeled in, to the moment I left!  The staff, nurses and doctors were the most pleasant, caring and understanding people. They listened and answered any and all questions I may have had, and made me feel at ease and taken care of. Post surgery team of nurses and doctors was also exceptional!! I highly recommended this hospital if in need to go. 10/10!!  Excellent!!

I just had my first baby a few weeks ago at Ascension Saint Thomas Hospital Midtown. I had my baby via c-section and felt I was in great hands as the surgery team took the time to explain the process and made sure I was as comfortable as possible. The doctors and nurses were top notch and I was very impressed with their professionalism, knowledge, and experience.  The hospital itself is very clean and updated. The rooms are spacious, the food was good, and the products for baby and mom were great. I will definitely choose this hospital again for future deliveries.

We are blessed in Tennessee with a number of great hospitals.  I would have to rank this hospital as 5 stars.  Knowledgeable staff and helpful employees are just the start. These people put helping people first and that’s what matters.  I give them two thumbs way up  Also adding to the St Thomas crew is the Ascension Saint Thomas StatFlight-branded Bell 407GXi helicopter, operated by Air Evac Lifeteam, will provide emergency air medical coverage to Rutherford County and surrounding communities.  Each crew consists of an Air Evac pilot, nurse and paramedic who have extensive education and experience in their field. The crew is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to transport critically ill and injured patients to the most appropriate Middle Tennessee facilities. StatFlight, operated by Air Evac, will service a 70-100-mile radius from Ascension Saint Thomas Rutherford and greatly reduce transport times to definitive care.

I just had carotid surgery at St Thomas Ascension Midtown. This was my first ever experience with a surgical procedure. The nurses the staff the doctors treated me with great kindness and compassion. I am very grateful for all of the folks involved with my surgery. They were comforting compassionate and super kind to me which I greatly appreciated. The night nurses were so sweet to me and very professional I can't say enough good things about the folks at St Thomas Midtown who cared for me thank you, thank you, thank you so much. I am so grateful for your skill and compassion.

I was a patient of this facility. There are no email addresses or contact information on their website or online for anyone. And I mean nobody. Health care providers going to extreme measures to hide from their patients is concerning. First of all, it's dangerous and likely could be construed as a failure to provide a basic standard of care. If I treated my clients this way, I would not expect to be very successful -- and my line of work is not something nearly as intense. Ascension Saint Thomas Hospital Midtown should lean in not out.  There are unquestionably practitioners at this hospital like Dr. Rachel Ward who are the very best -- and the problems I bring up here are not usually the fault of the docs and nurses but the corporate admins.  I can report that my overall experience and care during my actual two-day stay here were good. For patients who need follow-up care, many communicate more comfortably and effectively by email message and the option should be readily available for any patient. In today's world, withholding your email address is tacky and unprofessional.

I have had 2 surgeries here at St. Thomas Midtown &  1 successful C-Section! Each time July 2019, May 2022, Oct 2022 was a great experience! The Nurses, Housekeepers,Doctors, and Nutritional Staff were really nice people! I recommend they are building new areas all around the hospital I have had my son and 1 of my surgeries in the new building!

St. Thomas made my delivery and postpartum experience the best. Everyone working there is so incredibly helpful and friendly. Starting at the front desk, to food services, nurses, doctors, lactation consultants. All the staff I came in contact with made my stay such an enjoyable experience. I was even surprised at how good the food was. Hospital food is always hit or miss, but I loved everything I had. Plus it was well balanced. I’m so grateful that I had my sweet baby at this hospital. I could not recommend it more!!! Also Dr. Norman was so wonderful. She made my delivery as swift and painless as possible. She was open and honest about every step along the way. I’m so glad she delivered my baby.
