Love camping here. The staff is incredibly friendly and the camp sites have beautiful views! It's always a good time when we stay here!
Beautiful place. Though you find some permanent campers in the park at the beginning, as you head inside towards sites B & C, you'll find stunning views of the ocean bay and colorful skies. If you're looking for resort kinda camping, this is not the one for you. This is more primitive and natural.
Pulled in and instantly turned around. This place appears very sketchy and not welcoming at all, from the entrance to the gate. The 'store' is run down with absolutely no signs except one about alcohol showing their main concern that it's where you go in to register or a store. The door's window was covered and the window appeared to be boarded up so you couldn't even tell if a light was on. On top of this, it is connected to a very run down trailer park where many of the residents have 'junk'/garbage scattered throughout lawns. Most certainly would not call this a resort
Hands down best campground. Beautiful waterfront campsites with water and electric hookups. They also offer campsites not on the water if you would prefer. All the permanent rev residents are friendly. Plenty of great fishing spots and perfect places to swim. The views are very lovely and relaxing.
I enjoyed the location. It is remote. Could have used wifi but it's camping not hotel hoping. People were nice. Janice the owner and Janice at the desk a sweet people. Restrooms: Nice shower.
Beautiful location! Doesn't have all the bells and whistles like the campground nearby but that is part of the charm. Very relaxing and enjoyable!
the first warning sign is that the campground is attached to what looks like a long term stay trailer park. people live there. the bath house is in horrible condition..mold all over the place..nowhere to change. no ventilation. nasty toilets. questionable liquid all over the floor. I felt dirtier after I took a shower than I did before hand. we rented a rustic tent site which turned out to be all the way in the back of the campground in the middle of a drained swamp with no trees for shade. it is not the tent site they show in the pictures with a seawall and trees. we also had some guy in a 4x4 who thought it was fun to use the campground as a personal mud bogging course. which apparently management had no issue with. lots of mud, snakes and lots of mosquitoes. no laundry room. had a horrible experience. I've been camping all over the US and hiked the AP and this is the first time I have ever left early due to horrid unbearable conditions. over all the staff acted friendly. the view was great. I would highly recommend dropping the resort portion of the name as they offer none of the amenities expected to be offered at a resort.
The people are so super friendly the owner is very nice. Went with a group of good friends. The view pretty. We went kayaking, played volleyball and if course cornhole.
This place is awesome! Nice clean resort and the people staff and campers are courteous and friendly! Just have a good time!!!!
Wonderful family owned campground. Staff was cheerful and polite. The sunset over the sound was amazing. Caught a few blue crab and catfish while we were there .The campground store had jut about everything you can possibly need, from groceries, fishing and camping supplies. Will be back.
