This is a peaceful and quiet campground. The sites are spacious. You hear no highway noise and hardly any road traffic. Lots of trees and shade. There is a swimming pool, playground, small arcade, laundry facilities and bath houses. Plenty of RV sites and a plethora of tent sites. The sites have nice fire rings for quality fires in the evenings. Family friendly environment!
Great campground, lots of trees, great little community room good for kids. Rural, friendly young man at the office. Quite a few long term campers but they kept their areas pretty clutter free. Great camping for RVs and tents.
Very nice campground in the woods. Our site accommodated our 40 foot fifth wheel easily. No wi-fi or cable TV, but our phones worked great, and our antenna picked up over 69 channels. Close by a lot of attractions, including Coopers Rock State Forest overlook and Don Knotts Statue in Morgantown. We enjoyed our stay.

This is a peaceful and overall well maintained campground. The front desk staff was friendly. They have an arcade, laundry facility and pool was under renovation when I was there. The campground is a decent size if you want to go on a walk or short run. The only reason why I gave 4 stars is it was challenging to level because the big gravel rocks on the site. I would love to come back here in the future.
Really nice campground. We spent a week here in August of 2023. The sites are all spacious and well laid out. Family friendly environment with a great pool and little playground. The new ownership has obviously been working hard to upgrade everything. The only slight negative was the bathhouse - only 1 of the 2 buildings on property were open, and the men's room only had a single working shower. Definitely not a deal-breaker, as it was a clean facility albeit outdated. I'm certain the new ownership will be making great improvements in this area as they have obviously been doing elsewhere at the property. Verizon and AT&T phones both worked great here as well. I can't wait to spend another week here next year!
This is a really nice average size campground offering a mix of RV and tent sites. The sites are all nice sized and some are huge. Sites are gravel with grass between. Each site also has a fire pit and picnic table. The roads in the campground are gravel but are in good condition. There is good tree cover throughout the campground. It was actually pretty amazing that with all the trees in the campground the grounds were kept very clean. It shows real pride of ownership. There are two showers and one small laundry room which were a bit outdated but usable. There is also a really nice pool. AT&T cell service was pretty good, Verizon was pretty bad. The staff was very helpful and friendly.
Great place to experience the outdoors, nestled at the edge of the University's forest, surrounded by nature and friendly seasonal campers. We tented for 2 nights while our brother's family stayed in an RV across the street from our site. Both had a great time albeit cold! Our young kids ages 3-6 LOVED exploring the woods and the small playground, our dogs were happy and welcome, the location near Morgantown breweries and Coopers Rock hiking was perfect, and the staff was so friendly. The bath houses are not luxurious but fit our needs just fine. Stay here!
Buffalo NY here. Camper her 2 nights with our trailer. Clean, level gravel site. Super easy to plug and play! Staff very pleasant. Cool little camp store and game room and pool was clean and inviting. Glad we stayed here and if ever back in WV would book again!
We only stayed here for one night on our way driving home. It was a very nice campground, clean, and very friendly people and we wish we had more time there. We will definitely be coming back. West Virginia was beautiful and this campground is conveniently located close to Coopers rock. Dog-friendliness: Everyone had dogs here! A very dog friendly campground.
