We love this camp site. It's not over crowded. The people that do come are super friendly. All the camp sites I have been to have been maintained really well. Everything is super clean. The waterfalls are nice. My 2 dogs do really well here. It's a great quiet place to recharge and reset. Restrooms: There is no running water. But there is atleast 2 toilets I think. No shower. No sink. Dog-friendliness: We bring our dogs here and haven't ran into any problems. I always see a lot of other dogs here as well. Picnic area: Each campsite has a picnic table and a fire pit.
This place is quickly becoming one of my favorite places to ride USFS roads, pick up trash, and camp with my family and friends. The campgrounds are nice, stay fairly clean, and are easily accessible with a small creek crossing towards the back to access the last few sites. Prices are totally worth it. Sites are clean and level with lots of space that includes a picnic table and a burn ring with grilling grate. Restrooms: Vault toilets were surprisingly clean on this visit. They are typically good, but this time they were better! Dog-friendliness: There were plenty of dogs when we stayed. All seemed to be properly leashed and handled, which is nice change from the usual.
There are a few outhouse style restrooms and plenty of campsites. I wouldn't plan on good fishing as the stocking truck only releases at the road crossing. I didn't try the upper section of the creek, but I hear there are wild trout.
I love this campground very clean and rustic trout fishing is good. If your that dude that fishies by the bridge after they drop the fish. Not cool be a man and fish somewhere in the creek. Its a sport if u want easy go to a trout farm. Sarahs creek is awesome
Beautiful place! This was my first time but definitely not the last time. Restrooms: I didn't use them but I did see them Picnic area: It looks like a cute place to have an afternoon dinner
A little slice of heaven. I do believe there may be a Skinwalker, Rake, or Bigfoot in the area. I won't go into detail. Nighttime can be very interesting to say the least. I love the mountains! I really, really do!
I've been coming up here for 12 years, and I think it is absolutely perfect for camping. It's just beautiful and peaceful there's bathrooms, you can play in the water, you can swim, you can fish, I absolutely love this place in a few years, thinking about coming here, campsite 1, 19 and 20 are great fishing areas and swimming areas
Gorgeous campgrounds. There's a small waterfall near the grounds that is just so beautiful. The whole area feels like it's gushing with life. My one complaint is the road that leads to the campgrounds. It is not very sedan or low-to-the-ground car friendly. I made the mistake going in my sedan and I could feel every dip and hole on the gravel road and I could hear my car begging for it to end. Also, the signage can be a little confusing. Last time we went there was trash in the little waterfall which is unfortunate. People: please clean up after yourselves and help preserve these beautiful natural landmarks.
I absolutely love this place!! Primitive camping, fishing, riding horses, and swimming!! It is a beautiful place for family adventures! I visited this place for over 40 yrs! Love Love
Nice dispensed campground. About 15 sites. Some for tents some for small rv. About a mile on one lane road. 1st half was paved up the mountain.
