Kind of disappointed with our visit last night. We sat at the bar and the bartenders were both nice and gave good service so that's a plus. The place was basically empty on a Thursday night around 6pm which seems odd to me and doesn't sound like it is that busy anymore on any given evening. The food was average at best. The calamari was good, but then our dishes were pretty bland and they over cooked the pasta which is really hard to do. For the price point there are many other options in the area we will try next time.
Had a very nice lunch here recently. Service was amazing as usual, the atmosphere is always inviting and warm, and the food was delicious. Ordered these items: Italian House Salad, Eggplant Parmesan, and Creme Brûlée. Every meal also comes with complimentary bread that’s evidently fresh. Nothing but great things to say about these items. Salad was moist and tasty, the egg plant parmesan was huge but was cooked to perfection, as was the marinara sauce that was topped on it. Creme brûlée was AMAZING. Will be back for sure.
Great place to eat, and the prices aren't so bad honestly. Our server was so sweet and didn't rush at all even though we accidentally stayed past closing. The food was great! I don't even like fish, but the white fish and Brussel sprout slaw were amazing! The dining area itself is gorgeous, and the whole experience was a great way to celebrate a birthday!
As a wedding photographer, I had the privilege of capturing the magic of Anahi and Cuyler's special day at Saranello's, and I must say, it's an absolute gem of a venue! From start to finish, Saranello's offers a seamless experience for couples and their guests. It truly is a one-stop destination, with the convenience of getting ready in the Westin hotel just steps away from the ceremony space. This made it incredibly easy for the couple and their wedding party to prepare and ensured that every moment was flawlessly captured. The ceremony space itself was nothing short of breathtaking. The ambiance, adorned in emerald green and gold, created an elegant and romantic setting that perfectly complemented the couple's vision. The attention to detail by the talented wedding planner, Lara Jones, was evident in every aspect of the day. Now, let's talk about the catering! Saranello's truly outdid themselves with their delicious offerings. From appetizers to desserts, the culinary delights were a treat for both the eyes and the taste buds. As a photographer, I couldn't help but capture the joy on the guests' faces as they savored each delectable bite. The staff at Saranello's were friendly, professional, and incredibly accommodating, ensuring that everything ran smoothly throughout the event. They went above and beyond to create a seamless and enjoyable experience for everyone involved. In conclusion, Saranello's is a dream venue for any wedding photographer. The combination of a beautiful ceremony space, convenient accommodations, and delectable catering makes it a top choice for couples seeking a truly memorable and magical wedding day. I highly recommend Saranello's to all couples looking to create unforgettable memories on their special day!
This is a really great place. Lisa was helpful in our ordering. Service was very good . Braised short rib ravioli was the best I've had. Large pieces of short rib in Each ravioli. Do tender and juicy.Food: 5/5
We took our daughter for lunch today after she graduated from Navy boot camp. This place is wonderful. Food was some of the best I have ever had. They also gave my daughter her chose of desert on the house. The staff is wonderful, kind, and most of all, sweet. They took pictures of us before we left for us. It brought a tear to my eye and I am a hard person. Will come back when we come back to Chicago. Thank you for your support of the military. -Benjamin.
We celebrated my great uncle's 100th birthday and it was an incredibly enjoyable experience! From the entrance to the room we rented to the mimosas for the guests arriving to the very kind & courteous service we rec'd from everyone involved...this was a 5 Star dining experience. Thank u very much for helping to make this such an enjoyable birthday for our great uncle!
The flavor of the food was good but the serving size for the price was lacking. 6 small ravioli for $18 felt more like an appetizer instead of an entree.Food: 2/5
Our visit started out great. The valet was very friendly and courteous. Great guy! The hostess though ? ..Not so courteous...we wanted a table for 4 and she asked if we had reservations but we didn't. So she said we had to wait an hour. Even though there was empty tables. She said they were for reservations. So we went outside and made a reservation online for 15 min later and went back in and got a table. While sitting there we noticed those tables were still open for a while. It's fine but she wasn't very nice about it. I just feel like if you are a hostess you should maybe be nicer ? The food and table service was good though !
The historical comments for Saranello’s are a pretty accurate depiction of my experience there. The food is better than average, but not so much so that you’d feel the higher prices are all the way justified. The service is good, but only sometimes and depending on who you get. In general, I think the word that encapsulates the experience at Saranello’s is “inconsistent.” But the big groups laughing and enjoying their food is still a testament to the restaurant being a great gathering place for sizable groups. Give it a try, but definitely note that your mileage may vary.
