On March 3 & 4, 2017, The Andrew Low and Green-Meldrim Houses present "What's in Your Attic?" Two days of activities with 5 separate events! It's Savannah's First Antiques and Architecture Weekend.
~ The event kicks off on Friday with a Historic Madeira Luncheon and “What’s in Your Attic?” Lecture by John M. Sheftall, Esq., renowned attorney, historian, and expert on attic exploration.
~ Friday night is a Cocktail Reception & Live Auction in the historic Green-Meldrim mansion.
~ Saturday morning and afternoon from 9:30 - 3:30, bring your own treasures from closets, attics and garages! You can get a verbal valuation on your item for only $15 by celebrated TV stars and appraisers Lark Mason and Amanda Everard.
~ Saturday LUNCH & Lecture at 11:30 with a southern box lunch and a lecture and presentation on The French Connection: Savannah’s Treasures from Famous Attics.
~ Tours of the Andrew Low House Museum, the Green-Meldrim House Museum, St. John's Sanctuary, and a Trolley “Norris” Architectural Tour
