Pleasant store and staff, but I have been several times now, and I only had an easy time finding parking once. Another time I just had to give up and come back another day. This isn't their fault, but it is a problem. Also, it is long past time to put testers back, so that customers can smell the spice blends, but the staff said that returning them to the shelves isn't in the plan. They will pour you a sample, but it is awkward to ask for a sample of every blend I want to smell. Because of the parking difficulties and lack of testers, I will check out other shops before returning.
Closed! Lots to see in such a small shop. Reasonable prices for fresh and specialty spices. The staff is always friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. We save by buying by the bag rather than the bottle. We have enough empties at home to reuse as well as reusing store brand bottles.
If you tell them I sent you they may or may not give you $10 off your order. So if you like spices head on down there and get some really really good spices. You know the ones that you like
I cannot say enough good things about this place! One of their chili powders has become a staple of our family chili recipe. The manager Caleb went above and beyond to get me what I needed. I’m still blown away by his professionalism and how he went out of his way to help me. I’d give more stars if I could!!!
Made a special trip - got here at 6:30 and lights were out/store was closed. Called to confirm correct hours and voicemail indicated the store was open until 7?
I loved the Brookside location and love the spices. There was at least parking. I went to your new location yesterday and could not find parking after 10 minutes, between the traffic and the parking I will not go back. I will be ordering online going forward.
This place has a large selection of spices, and they are well organized. But, most importantly, the staff were friendly and knowledgeable and very helpful. I learned about some new spices while I was there, and I picked us some up. I cannot wait to try them out! I absolutely foresee coming back to this place.
I was going in to hand out flyers for an event I am sponsoring, and I had the opportunity to chat with Amber about the shop. I had never been in before, but wanted to also take the time to learn about the spices. Amber was absolutely delightful and she helped me learn about what would be a great purchase for the foods I like to eat. I can't wait to go back and purchase some spices. She has done a wonderful job of running the store! Very helpful, kind, and friendly!
Really enjoyed my first time in this shop today! The sales woman was very kind and it was easy to ask questions. There was lots of variety and was unexpectedly affordable. I took advantage of their latest sale and left feeling very satisfied with my purchases. Looking forward to going back.
First experience was great. Amazing selection and had the weird spice recipe called for. Also grabbed a couple of others I knew we were out of because the prices looked reasonable. Had to run to market after and did a quick comparison - Savory Spice has better prices too! Definitely worth the extra stop.
