"Dr. Schafer has been serving he Grand Rapids community for over 20 years. His practice is general chiropractic with a focus on manual adjustments and therapeutic exercises. As a previous personal trainer, Dr. Schafer takes the time to prescribe exercises on an individual basis. His unique perspective on core exercise combined with breathing techniques is what sets his practice apart from the rest. Massage therapy and manual therapy are also available. Dr Schafer is a miracle worker. As a bigger guy, I’ve always struggled to find a chiropractor who could adjust me using high velocity technique. He is simply amazing!!!!
Dr Schafer not only has his years of experience as a Chiropractor but he himself is a true athelete. He understands the aches and pains we have from over doing exercise and sports activities. He understands how to help his patients. I recommend Dr Schafer.
I have been seeing Dr. Schafer for over 10 years now, and I wouldn't consider seeing anyone else for my chiropractic needs. I used to have terrible migraines, and thanks to him they are gone. He has supported my well-being and health through pregnancy, work stress, grieving the loss of a parent, and the oh-so-fun transition into middle adulthood, where camping trips, guest beds, and looking over my shoulder in a funny way can hurt my back. He continues to encourage the healthy and active lifestyle that keeps my body from needing more chiropractic care that necessary, and has treated me with kindness, warmth, humor and respect since day one. I have come to him with random muscular aches and strains and he always gives me helpful stretches and exercises that take care of my discomfort. If you need a chiropractor, I can enthusiastically recommend Schafer Chiropractic. Their massages are the best, too!
Dr. Schafer is excellent. I went to him last year as I was dealing with a chronic ear issue. I am currently seeing him in regards to a sprained ankle. In both cases, Dr. Schafer approaches the problem area very holistically. I love the full body approach and how he gives me exercises to do at home. He is great, and I highly recommend him for even the non-traditional chiropractic issues like mine.

I have been seeing Dr. Schaffer for about 10 years, and he is absolutely amazing! His ability to sense by touch is hands down the best. He is kind, caring, compassionate, and will provide a WEALTH of knowledge about what's going on with your body and how to maintain it. He is also a physical fitness buff, and anyone who lifts or runs will appreciate his services and advice! His wife Sheri Beth and Aunt Becky at the front desk are two of the sweetest ladies around! Ask Sheri Beth about her massage services and CBD products she also makes amazing hand sanitizer! Becky has a WEALTH of insurance industry knowledge and will easily help navigate coverages and billing. We are moving across the country this summer, and this health care team will be SORELY missed by both my husband and I! An absolute MUST team if you're looking for chiropractic, wellness, and holistic services all in one place! Also, do your exercises. He will know.
